Chef Curtis visited Max's in Glendale, California recently on Broadway near the Glendale Galleria Mall. Chef Curtis dined on Max's Famous Fried Chicken and Crab Fried Rice and for dessert he had a Mango and Coconut Jelly in Cream.

My family would goto the one in Cerritos in early 90s almost every saturday night, sucks there not one closer to where i live, after the cerritos closed there was one in West Covina, then that one closed few years ago.

Whoever suggested to you about the banana catsup and Worcestershire sauce, should have explicitly told you to mix the 2 together before you dip, add the Tabasco sauce if they provide it on the table.

You should mix the banana catsup with worcestershire sauce and hot sauce, then dip the chicken in it.

For max's chicken, mix the banana catsup and Worcestershire sauce together and adjust according to taste.. That's how we do it here everytime we eat at max's

Yup the fried chicken is kinda boring withouth its ketchup. No matter what kind..kentucky, Popeyes, jollibee..etc. but with filipino chicken theres that banana ketchup. It gives the taste to a new level.
