Even though it's a few years old now, this was a really helpful video, thank you! I enjoyed your authenticity and "yes, this is really our kitchen" production values of your video - reminds me of the days when UA-camr's weren't shooting for that boring, shiny, studio-lit "reality TV show" aesthetic and were just themselves. I also appreciate that this video was unsponsored. Best of luck in future videos!

Hi Lain, thank you so much for this positive uplifting comment. We're still using Walmart lamps to light the kitchen. I like that I can use my real kitchen and people don't judge the fact that I can't afford to renovate it.

You have to take into consideration that the NutriBullet (600+ watts) has more wattage therefore more powerful than the Magic Bullet (250 watts) so you basically have to double the amount of blending time. I don't own any of the Bullet blenders but own a handful of power tools :).

Today I bought the nutri bullet, it was 80% off plus my associate discount from J.C. Penney so I got it for 36 dollars, I didn’t know much about it, thanks for your great video I learned a lot and you should go into the business of doing commercials.

Thank you for your comparison that was shown between The Magic Bullet and The NutriBullet. I needed to see the end results of both. I purchased a Magic Bullet yesterday, but will be returning on tomorrow. I love how the NutriBullet processes fruits & veggies for smoothies. I can continue using my Cuisinart Blender/Food Processor for my soups, ice cream desserts. Again, your video helped me to decide what my next purchase should be.

Her show is so easy to watch. She gets right to the point, and still makes it fun. I've been watching blender videos for the past half hour, and all of the others just didn't do it for me. Totally subscribing. Also, she sold me on the Nutribullet. I have the Magic Bullet, and it's been awesome, but it has its limitations. Nutribullet is cheaper than the Vitamix, but does the same job. Yay!

I only have the original Magic Bullet which I love. I like the more compact size, because I can pack it in my suitcase and have a portable juicer with me when I travel. Also, I've had it for 8 years and the little tab things on the cups have never broken off.

I don't think the nutribullet is necessarily a replacement of the magic bullet. I think it's just an addition. Depends if you like to puree or pulverize your food depending on if you like it chunky or smooth. Like you said it's a matter of what you want to do with it. Thanks alot, great demo, Helped me make a decision!

      It is a bit confusing...
The Nutribullet is made by Magic Bullet, it has Magic Bullet written on the product.
And then there's the Magic Bullet, not sure who makes them
So if you want to buy the Nutribullet, make sure the product says Nutribullet

At least it will blend better then our blender we have. Our blender doesn't blend very well anymore. But great job on the video hope to see more of these. Thanks.

What a GREAT video. I am so glad I saw this. I had already purchased the Magic Bullet, a couple of days ago, because I was looking for a small, blender like machine, to use, on a daily basis. And I love it. But once I went online and saw the Nutribullet, I was very curious, what was the difference. Your video, made it so very clear, that I will also purchase the Nutribullet, within the next couple of weeks.

Really appreciated seeing the comparison demo. You were great! I have both. 'Bullets'... Been using the Magic Bullet since it was first introduced. Love everything about it.
In contrast, I've only had the Nutri Bullet a month and find it to be far to 'bulky to hold comfortably' and much more difficult to close and open… something to consider if your hands are small or weak. Maybe it's just the one I purchased, but ONLY the largest container on the Nutri Bullet seems to seal correctly; the two shorter ones leak when blending no matter what I've tried. I also hold the cups down on the Bullet bases, but that doesn't seem to work for the Nutri Bullet. Checking the seals and tightening doesn't cure the problem either. The food is under a higher pressure and it just sprayed out! You only get 2 short cups and a tall one with the Nutri Bullet. All are too large to fit in your cars's cup holders. While the Magic Bullet comes with 4 medium, 1 tall and 1 short container. All of them fit in my car's cup holders...because they are not 'cup wells' and have an open area to allow the handle to slip through so the cups can sit level.
The Magic Bullet stays handy out on the counter and it's used multiple times a day. Smoothies, milk shakes, grinding coffee beans, and scrambling and fluffing eggs for amulets, dicing onions and peppers, and tomatoes for a fresh salsa are just a few of it’s many uses. It's on the counter and used daily to maintain a healthy start each day. I even use the Magic bullet to grind coffee beans and it's still going strong! I advise never washing either Bullet's cups in the dishwasher to extend their life. As mentioned in the video, the nubs do wear out and you must have at least one on every cup to activate the machine. All six containers are still in use, 2 are on their last nub.
My personal preference is the Magic Bullet and I plan on purchasing a new one in the near future! I don't want to blend so fine that the food looses It's color, eye appeal and texture from over blending. However, whichever you decide, it will be a great time saver and addition to your kitchen's arsenal of tools and gadgets. You'll want to keep it on the counter and in quick reach. I'm hoping they design the next one with a small under-the-upper-cabinet or under-counter storage rack so you can keep the extra blades and cup covers/rims in quick reach...for now I'm using a heart shaped bowl to hold the extra blade, tops and seals close by!

QUEENTHICK007 Thank you for writing back, I'm glad you found it useful... no sense spending money on more then you need or purchasing it and find out it's not handy to travel with. I still have both...but find I use my magic bullet much more. my hands are older and getting weaker...so the attached handle on the magic bullets mugs give me the extra leverage I need to remove the blade base. Hope you enjoy whichever one you purchase.

This was my winning statement and why I enjoy using the Magic Bullet - "I don't want to blend so fine that the food looses It's color, eye appeal and texture from over blending." The texture and color for me is everything.

+ Simple and compact; it's a small base and not bulky
+ Lids that attach to the mixing container so you can make single serving sizes and not dirty another glass; can also put the lid on them and store in the fridge.
+ Easy to clean -- the cap with the blending blades remove by design so you can pour out your drink; regular blenders make you disassemble the base and wash individually

I find for me with the magic bullet. That It works best blending the ingredients one at a time. Breaks down a little more. Even though that defeats it's purpose of being quick. But I also think that having it still chunky/not broken all the way down, that it will stay in my stomach keeping me full longer.

You have to consider the nutri bullet has a larger cup to move the ingredients around. I have a large blender but don’t want to dirty it up for one drink. I found a magic bullet at the thrift shop for $4.99. I’m sure it will do for me, milkshake, berries & milk.

Hey Thanks for the great review. Very nice video, but I have one suggestion for you. Why not put a link to the magic bullet and nutribullet in the video description? You could sign up for amazon affiliate program and get a commission for your work. I am sure that you are encouraging people to buy this product so you should be getting paid for it!! I am sure the bullet people really appreciate the free marketing tho!!

Hi Nicholas, I didn't even know all this was possible. I'll definitely look into your suggestion. Thanks for educating me and Happy New Year.

Thank you for your video. I have the Magic Bullet now and have seen the NutriBullet and thought about it..
I noticed the mouth of the NB is wider and it sounds like the motor is a little more powerful. So far I have only made smothies in my MB but I know it can do a lot more...

They both work the same way, just the space is what determines the texture of your smoothie so blend less when using the magic bullet is being use, eg blend twice with magic bullet once with the nutri bullet

Nutri Bullet. Same, first Magic, had hard time with hard stuff like ginger. Then I happened to buy a brand new Nutri cup set with blade for $5 at a thrift store which led me to buy the complete Nutri. So definitely buy the Nutri. IMO.

You don't need to do it up so tight, of course it will crack if you tighten too much. You barely need to tighten it, just a gentle half centremetre turn at the end is all you need. Remember the rubber seal tightens it further as soon as it begins to do its work.

Love the way you explained and displayed everything !!! It makes so much sense and help me tremendously at deciding which one to pick . I seen both of these on t.v years ago and always wanted one but never really payed it any more attention. Intill I got diagnosed with being " pre diabetic " a couple weeks ago, I finally figured purchasing one would be worth it ! Lol definantly want more healthier foods in my diet and I believe all and all the Nutribullet will do just that for me ! 😊 Gonna go on EBay and see if I can find one for $40 ! 😂💁🏾 Lol thank youuu ! ☺️

Hi Yes I have been debating about 3 types of juicers in the past I purchased the ones that had countless bits to wash this made it more difficult for me to get the motivation to make a juice. My main aime is for vegtable s Thanks to watching your comparison s I definitely going to invest in the nutri bullet. Looks like a worth while expense for the benefits Thanks and isnt summer the best time. Arwen London

Thank you so much. I have watched several video's trying to decide between them and yours gives me more information than the others have. I think I know which I want to get now. My husband always has a great garden and as I age, I have more trouble chewing so having a bullet will be great. My blender is more timely to dig out and clean after.

Thanks, I wasn't really torn between the two anyway as the NutriBullet is way more expensive. I was just checking to see if Magic Bullet does the same half as good, and it sure does that and more. Thanks for the great comparison video, you're a great presenter and this video is not only informative but also enjoyable!

That's pretty cool to see the difference Barbara. I used to own one but I'm going to save up and invest in a vitamix so I can make smoothies and such.

    • @TheBarePantryShow
      @TheBarePantryShow 11 років тому +1

Hey Ange...I've saved up a couple of times to buy the vitamix, but didn't do so because I think I'd get fed up with washing too many parts. I do believe it's the best one out there though. Don't buy the Montel Williams one as it constantly leaks oil from the bottom.

Thank you for a clear demo without trying to sell one or the other Very helpful. I have used a Magic bullet for years and it did pretty well with veggies but I think I will get the more powerful Nutribullet.
