Thank-you, I'm really glad you enjoyed the video. To the best of my knowledge Land Rover never offered a galvanised chassis on Defenders from the factory, instead they opted to coat the steel chassis in paint, and paint only. Fortunately there are a myriad of third party companies that offer galvanized chassis for each variation of the Defender range.
I´am late sorry (very late).Good job, but.......Where is The Stage one? (the connection with the Serie lll, the longer bonnet or first badges). Where are The Wolfs (XD)?, What happened to The Shorland ? , inspiring TANGI and PANGOLIN. How to forget the colors of history?: SANDGLOW YELLOW and TANGIERS ORANGE, How no to remember the ATLANTIS BLUE of 50 Th V8? or The ZERMATT SILVER of two Big Foot Special Vehicles?. How to leave behind WILDCAT and BOWLER and their Dakarian Battles? And the 147´s of Lode Lane?, Safari Game Wiewer? , What happened to the NAS?, and Sir Fiennes 110 Mattracks?, Puma EV? The first special series was CARIBA (not SV)although it was not DEFENDER. Final Edition was HERITAGE , but ADVENTURE, AUTOBIOGRAPHY and LANDMARK (UK) too
Mullered by the Land Cruiser in most parts of the world (reliability issues). Stolen by thieves to order (broken into parts extremely easily). Copied by Ineos (overall design had no patent/copyright).
This video deserves FAR more views than it has at this point in time! Brilliantly done! I've learned so much.

Excellent!! This is an awesome overview!!
I love the old defenders. I wish they weren’t so expensive here in the states. (Some of them are near if not more than $100,000)

Brilliant video. Thanks for putting it together. Was a galvanized frame ever offered from the factory?

Can you do a vid on the spectre model from the 007 movie
Why do people insist on calling the series land-rover defender
No mention of NAS or Camel Trophy is a big failure.
6:05 "how much horsepower it got?" "70"
Inches, millimeters, make your mind up🤔
puma in 1983?
and I can also drift in GTA 4 on this legendary SUV @OT1c @GC8c @UsxA @0_g4
I thought it was called the 127 because you could fit a fiat 127 in the boot 🥴😂

Ineos is saving the heritage unlike the now Indian owned Land Rover company.
