Love the stars in the moon wheel - if that is what it is. Why? (The quarter hourshould be soundedeading up to the full chime.) How does his differ from the Winchester Chime?
Also I have a story for this sound.... Takes deep breath. Your sitting in your room on UA-cam. Suddenly you hear your grandfather clock chime this is playing from the living room. Your home alone as your parents went on a trip for work. You decide to go to the living room and sit in the couch. The clock ticks in the background. Suddenly you hear something moving you look up and are frozen in fear. The clock is slowly waking towards you... You run away to your room, and hide in a corner. The clock opens the door and starts looking for you. You sit there shaking in fear, hoping it doesn't find you. You look over and see it peeking around the corner at you. You let out a soft (oh no) breathing heavily. It approaches you slowly its footsteps getting closer and closer. You cover your face and almost start to cry. Then you feel it's wooden arms wrap around you and it lifts you off the ground. It slowly pulls you towards it its arms still around you. You expect it to choke you but instead its embrace almost feels comfortable. Like it's hugging you. You feel your breathing start to slow down, and you calm down a bit. You hear its gears moving and turning constantly, but it doesn't bother you. You feel safe in its embrace. And can't help but wonder if this is Harry Potter... •Please Comment on this😊
I agree! I just got a Howard Miller Webster triple chime movement and of course Westminster has always been my favorite. I have 2 clocks and both are set on The Westminster chime 😆
@@d0g3br34d Yours could be set on a different chime. The one I have has 3 chime settings. Check and see what yours is set on. I don't know what else it could be if it sounds nothing like this.
My mother felt the same way. I drove her all over Bavaria to seek out an oak wall mounted German clock. It is very gingerbready. She passed away in 2020 and the clock had not been wound for a long time. The gears were so gunked up with wood stove and cigarette smoke. I FINALLY found a clock maker and he worked on that clock and a Sessions mantle clock for close to a year. The German clock has 3 chimes, Westminster, St Michael’s, and Whittington. I too like the Westminster the best.
I really love old type clocks with gossip, greetings from Tampico Tamaulipas Mexico
one old clock in my house which lasted for 20 years had this chime. felt really nostalgic viewing this video
I love st Michael chime
Not to be confused with Whittington.

I got a Michaels ad 😂😂
Its ok if you like it. but to me it just sounds like a bunch of random bells being played
I don't like it as much in a grandfather clock as the Westminster chime.
It only striked 2:00.
Yeah
I USED THIS TO RING IN NOON
Sounds like tubular bells
They sound very different
They are tubes.

I don’t think it sounds like this, I have one and it sounds completely different and in a good sounding melody
