Thank you for sharing! I'm thinking of doing a multi-day bp in desolation wilderness. I'm currently doing a little research long hikes and your videos are a big help!

Glad to help. Are you looking for ideas? I have a 30mi trip all lined up, but haven't had the time. It's a loop starting at Lily Lake. Go up to Lake Aloha, over Mosquito Pass, camp at Clyde Lake. Go down the valley and up to Fontanelles and camp there. Day 3: go over Dicks Pass and out to Lily Lake.
OR start with this hike to Schmidell, go around Leland Lakes loop down to the valley, get on PCT heading north. Cut over on the General Creek trail to the Meeks Bay trail (Genevieve Lake), up and over Phipps pass... up to Fontanelles, over Dicks Pass, around to Mosquito Pass, down the valley, then up and over Rockbound Pass again. That's probably closer to 50mi - haven't worked out all of the details, but should be a great hike.
All from the top of my head - study a map before blindly following my advice :-)
