If that's happening, it's because Topuria is being forced to let down some of his bogus demands. Nobody meets his pipe-dreaming standards and Ortega and Volk would never get a chance. If Topuria had it his way, he would only do double champ fights, money fights with washed up stars like McGregor or exhibition boxing against some 50-year-old legends. How he has acted is so anoying.
I think it get's announced soon that Max vs Ilia will be the main event at UFC 306 at the Sphere in Vegas.

Max is one of my all time favourites, but Topuria is also on that trajectory. I dont think there is anybody right now who can beat Ilia at FW. He is a legend in the making and people will realize sooner or later.

I really hope Max get it done against Topuria. Topuria is just an annoying champ. Dont want to fight contenders, go around europe promoting himself and spew bullshits. In Volk and Max, FW had real champions. Unfortunately, Volk was compromised due to Makhachev's kick, if not Topuria would never be the champ.
