Small FYI The story implied the baby girl taken was Keldors, not Randors. Thats why he was transformed to his blue skinned humanoid look. It leaves them room to bring in a clone of She-Ra. They dont have the rights to She-Ra, shes owned by DreamWorks. So the switch her father, will probably change her name and still give her the same powers.
@micksystv7125 watch when Hordak is leaving through a window, holding a baby and on the floor behind him "retrained " is an "Adult" Keldor. Also, skeleton said "Hordak erases any memories that may make you less obedient " . Taking Skeletors memory of being Keldor makes him less empathetic to Adam and Randor. Taking She-Ras memory of her father Keldor makes her more loyal to him. But now that Keldor has all his memories , he should easily recognize his daughter AND know how to restore her memory. I imagine he'll be a "Good Guy" like Evil Lynn in the next chapter. Seems they're following the Dragon Ball Z method of turning all your enemies into friends. Skeletor = Frieza He-Man = Goku Hordak = Jiren If that makes any sense
I have mentioned this elsewhere, but I definitely have to agree. I admit that Revolution is much improved from Revelation. The characters are more watchable and in keeping with their classic counterparts (No butch. Karen Teelas). The action scenes are fiun to watch, and it does feel more like a MOTU series overall. However, I did take issue with a number of plot holes that I think could have been fixed, For instance, I found the plot point of Randor refusing to let Sorceress Teela heal hm (or at least attempt to do so) to be weak. I would have wanted to know what limits on Teela's powers prevented her from healing him or why she couldn't heal him. I found the plot point of not being able to rule as both Adam and He-Man to be contrived. He-Man is a powered up version of Adam. He's a magnification of Adam's own abilities, not a separate person. Everyone knows that Adam and He-Man are one and the same,(ie, the secret is out), so there is no reason he couldn't do both, and no reason is given other than King .Randor thinks it can't be done. (How would he know? He has never had to protect Eternia as He-Man, [he didn't even know that the power of He-Man came from his son's sword until recently], and he doesn't seem to understand what being He-Man entails. He says that being He-Man involves going off on adventures, but he seems to have forgotten how many times He-Man defended his kingdom and Castle Grayskull against Skeletor. He also seems to have forgotten about King Grayskull, who seemed to do both fine) Also, not being able to do both contradicts our own history, in which some of the greatest rulers were also warriors (eg, Alexander the Great, Ghengis Khan, Julius Cesar, etc), who actively participated in battles after they came to power. I would have liked to have known what makes Eternia different from Earth and would prevent He-Man/Adam from ruling Eternia like our warrior rulers did with their empires. It would have caused what Adam does to the monarchy in episode 5 to make more sense. (What makes He-Man/Adam think that the people in the kingdom want democracy?) I don't understand why Queen Marlena can't rule. She ruled with her husband before he died. I find it rather convenient that she has to abdicate the throne just because her husband passed away. (They seem to have forgotten that Queen Marlena is not a figurehead. She could be formidable in her own right. [See "The Rainbow Warrior" in the Filmation series.]) Admittedly, the plot holes are not as glaring as in Revelation, but they are still there, and some of them are difficult to swallow. The plot holes may work for a children's cartoon (although I think that even the Filmation series had fewer plot holes), but I expect something more sophisticated as an adult.
If tila has all the power and no restrictions as told to us by Masters of the universe :revelation, every moment Skeletor is alive is her fault and every death by his and by extension his minions hand is all Tula's fault From the logic of that show tila killing Skeleror takes equal effort to us taking a dump in the morning
I watched it yesterday; wasn't going to. What I liked: - I liked the easter eggs. The bird ship. Battle damage He-Man. The 2010 power sword. The "Original " sorceress design and the return of Granamere. Stuff like that. - There was more He-Man this time. What I didn't like: - too many drastic changes. Changing from a kindom to a democracy. The extreme Changing of the guard and killing off old characters. When I finished watching it, I hit the dislike on netflix. Why? Because I recognize they were baiting me with easter eggs and the story itself had an agenda that was not faithful to to lore. I really wish someone else took the reigns of this ip and did it faithfully.
@micksystv7125 last 5+ years is like they are systematically destroying all of our hero's all the one in DC and Marvel and Animated along with Indiana Jones, Han, Luke Laiya, insulting ghost busters with that 2016 abomination and now they are going after blade and buffy and the list goes on and on They are destroying male hero's and female heroes also just look at Sera Corners PS: sorry for rambling
@micksystv7125 yeh it really is, If we don't watch this (crap) the chances of a movie slip further away, but going on current trends do we want one, if it's like the smith heman 🤕

Yeah, it seems like they had a destination in mind and wrote the script to get there, not caring how the plot effects the wider universe .

It's not like she's restricted to Castle Greyskull like her mother the former sorceress was. Teela can just curb stomp Skeletor on a whim.

It felt a little "I'm burning it to the ground, so now there's no rules"
Well done.
Cheers Bob!

despite a couple of bs social justice issues adressed, I find motu: revolution actually awesome
That's the spirit!
For love of god who wrote the one liners in this show
They don't even make any sense.
