@ThiagoSWyse the problem with "Revelations" are the following 1-it feel very very rushed, Revolution don't have this problem because is a very centric plot, it all take place in a small period of time and in one place, and you have way less character arcs. Revelations, the story is not bad, but is a huge plot that was supposed to take liek 3 seasons to really work, a lot of thing happen one after the other, the character travel all around the planet and on different planes, and you have too much character arcs. all in very small number of spisodes. 2-Power unbalance, both heros and villains have too much "power up stack" to a point they are supose to be impossible to defeat, but still lose, by the end Teela is basically a goddess that can do anything, in previous lore the sorcerer power was limited because of location, but by the end of Revelations, Teela can do anything by herself, making other characters pointless, reaosn why the first thing they do in Revolution is to nerf her and cut part of her powers. 3-Cuts, Revelation suffer a lot by the fact they try to put a huge plot in a small number of episodes, to a point part of the information about the prove need to be later add in the form of Comics. 4-Too Much too fast, while masters of the universe has a old fandom, you need to take in consideration new ones, Revelations start to fast, they kill He-man during the first episode, and a lot of big changes take place too fast, i feel the story could have used a previous season that was more "basic" in nature to introduce the new viewers to that universe and characters, explaining how Skeletor get the information about the castle and everything. 5-The bad publicity campaign, Revelation have a lot if pushback because of how Kevin Smith handled the publcity campaing, the whole thing with the fake bait of fans and the lies, the "ClwofishTV" channel explained that the show was going to be more focused on Teela and He-man was be remove from the plot, Kevin smith go out and acused the channel of telling fake news, later he also realease a whole season trailer 90% focused on He-man, and the day the season was release, we learn everything "ClowfishTV" was 100% right, the one using Fake News was Kevin smith, and to this day he still refuse to apologise to ClowfishTV and the fandom for his lies.
It was just as good in that they’re both awesome. The extremely small -extremely online- vocal manboy army that has built their entire personalities around slagging off stuff that’s “woke” have zero impact on any of those.
No moron, He did his own thing and understood its the artist job to give people what they dont know they wanted. You dont make yourself the creative slave to the whims of self entitled demanding strangers on the internet. The backlash of the first season was pretty much ignored and will be a embarrassing stain many will look back on and make video essays about in the future.
@@Loveportorchard I think the undeniable difference between the themes and tone of Revolution in contrast to Revelation suggests otherwise. The show wasn't that bad it was just diffrent and a good reboot (wish that they continued the universe with a He-man show, with him traveling to Eternia throug the universe and exploring is race (as I remember created the hord and was destroyed by them but their ruins and tecnology are still there) and showing what happend to the hord after their defet and a new version of Sceletor)
loved it.. on part i didn't like is when Adam gave up the crown the second time.. shows that he has always wanted other things than to be king, one reason he and father relationship was strained. i get it, but he should have a government setup before dissolving the crown and giving power to ppl that have not shown anything that is worthy of them having all this power now. but we will see how it plays out in the next installment.. loved that she-ra is coming... overall this was a step up from revelations..
Would you rather be King or HE-MAN? His father said he had to choose and he chose the better of the two options. In his mind he can help the people more as HE-MAN then just King Adam.
@@russbilbrey he father and the king before never was the champion so how they know what he capable of doing as both king and champion. Adam’s problem was that he NEVER wanted the crown 👑. So in the original He-Man/ She Ra series Prince Adam and Adora learn they are twins and reunite while in this version is different as Despera(Adora) didn't know that He-Man is her brother at all. I wonder how this play out in the next part of Master of the Universe: Revolution and will She Ra make her proper appearence.
As much as I would like Adora to show up next season, it isn't likely to happen due to the rights issue with She-ra. That's why at the end of masters of the universe revolution, the Despara character is used in place of just referring to her as Adora/ She-ra.
