Yo, you gotta check The Labyrinth RPG even if you don't like the movie. 1. It's written by Ben Milton, Mr Questing Beast himself. 2. It's a pocket dimension puzzle and interaction heavy OSR adventure, a la Gardens of Ynn and Stygian Library. 3. The movie freaking rocks and you gotta go back and retroactively become a fan, lol. Love your work man, the puppets must unite!
For anyone still discovering this Clip. The Adventure is a Sandbox Style big fetch Quest. You start on a certain Page, and once you get your Opener you start on the big Map and Go wherever you want. But there is a time Limit, you have 99 days, until the world of Thra falls
This is a prized book in my wife's and my library. It is too bad that Netflix did not continue the series, we are hoping Disney will bring it back someday. We would love to see the end to the story they started.
Forgive me DM Zoth, for I am about to sin. Somehow I missed out on Labyrinth and Dark Crystal when I was younger. I was the right age group when they came out but for some reason I didn't see them. I did watch them both once as an adult but for some reason muppets freaked me out as a kid. Specifically it was those yip yip aliens that for some reason weirded me out. Although I did watch Friday the 13th when I was 8 or so, so who knows why they got to me as they did. Random thought about old movies. I do remember watching Voyage of the Rock Aliens(any else remember this?) at that time for some reason though. It always bugged me what that movie was called and only recently thanks to google I found out. One of these days we will run our of remakes and prequels to make and one day by scrapping the muck of the bottom of the barrel we shall be blessed by the sequel, Journey of the Metal Aliens
Love this!
This is truly a special book. It must be archived for the next 6 generations to enjoy, at least!

I didn’t know that Ben wrote it! I might pick it up after all!

How I understood it the story ends in the series where the movie begins.
This movie scarred me for life but it did give a lot of inspiration for my dnd world. Now I want to get this and run some games of it.
This looks amazing. Going to have to get it and try to convince my group to give it a shot.
Great video. I definitely need to check this book out!
Pretty great book. Good review man.
Had no idea this existed, just picked it up on Amazon

HAHAHAHAHAHA! ROTFLMAO!!!
No rules for Trial by Stone?!
SMH.
🤨
For a movie that showcases world-building, there is precious little such development in the RPG.
Hit the stone until it breaks........winner takes all........looser is an outcast. Seems simple enough.
