They don't have real critical thinking skills, the ability to form and express original thoughts, to admit when they're wrong, or to even be polite for that matter.
For example, one of the "bad" groups out there is the Proud Boys, as mentioned in this video, people often call them fascist and racist. I just got done with a lengthy back-and-forth with someone on reddit who said the same things and WOULD NEVER actually explain themselves or how either of those things were true. They said "it's well known" and "there is no debate", and accused me of anti-intellectualism and then called ME a fascist for no apparent reason. It was amazing really.

This young man, probably learned all the crap he’s spewing, from college. I listen to my kids, with the same arguments, and they eventually saw through what their professors were teaching. For all parents out there, I would suggest that you encourage your children, to go to a trade school. Let them learn how to weld, let them learn how to work on cars, or even have them learn how to become a farmer. I wouldn’t suggest the last one, that’s a tough life. But the first two are great opportunities for young men and women. There’s absolutely no shame, and being a plumber or an electrician. My father was a plumber, and he was dang proud of it.

They are journeyman in heat and air for now. I never thought I would be relieved that my grandkids chose not to go to college. 😞

Both sets of my grandparents were Dutch. From Holland and South Africa. They immigrated to the USA in the 1920’s and 1930’s. I live in the woke nonsense of Southern California. I’m white, but tan quite deeply. I have light brown eyes and very curly auburn hair. I used to describe my hair as “kinky”. As a child, my mom would have my hair braided because it was difficult for her to handle. I have been heckled, called a racial etc… from black people in the so accepting and loving city of Los Angeles. I wouldn’t dare respond that technically I’m an “African American”. As for the Central Park 5, a lot of people thought they were guilty until it was proven that they weren't. This dude reminds me of a co-worker of mine. He’s was a short Jewish gay guy, he was around 5’2 but he was an ok dude. He was just a bit too much of an arrogant leftist. During one of our debates which we had often but usually we keep it very friendly. This dude got upset and I think he felt backed into a corner and so he pulled the white privilege card on me. I’ve never had that card actually pull on me in person and I honest didn’t get upset or mad. In fact I never started laughing because of the absurdity of it. This dude didn’t know my past or where I’ve come from. I grew up with my black and brown brothers in the projects and in the trailer parks. There was no real racist as well were all equally poor and struggling. We joked around and messed with each and even used race as a way to mess with one another but there was never any hate behind it. I had no special privileges growing up. When you’re poor, you’re treated just as much like a criminal and unwanted part of society as anyone else that isn’t your skin tone. I knew black me who were better off than my family and my father worked for one of them. The people who toss around words like privilege are the only ones who have such privileges. The rest don’t pay attention to that shit because we’re too focused on doing better for ourselves than to worry about if someone thinks we’re privileged.
I see nothing privileged about your father being a drug addict abuser and hustler that sold your own information for drug money. I see no privileged in a single mother struggling to support her 2 kids on her own. I see no privilege in having to wonder if you’ll have food the next day, or if you’ll have a place to sleep. I see no privilege in surviving on bread, beans and cornbread. Putting ketchup on crackers because that’s all you have and you want to try and enjoy a snack that isn’t just dry crackers. Nah… I will laugh in the face of anyone screaming privilege to anyone else. You don’t know their life and what they might have been through to be where they are. It has nothing to do with privilege, if you decided to get off your ass and make something of yourself.

yep, I got told I grew up with a "silver spoon" and didn't understand "the struggle of mental illness"...I have CPTSD from being sexually, physically,mentally abused most of my life, I wore shoes that dug into my feet to the point they'd bleed, covered in duck tape and glue because I wasn't sure when I'd get a new pair. that's a TAME memory I have lol I survived chaos, dysfunction, abusive and poverty only to be told by a 20 something year old girl who's parents have paid for everything she's ever had in a music school that I had a "silver spoon".
I watched this one twice and also watched it with my husband, and I'm still in awe of how idiotic people's "facts" and opinions are. He doesn't see how racist he is being but his so easily to say a random stranger without getting to know them that they are racist. Wow. I'm sad for this generation we are in.

I grew up in a low income area of Toronto. It was very diverse. We had ppl of all nationalities and walks of life. Everyone looked out for everyone. Everyones parents looked out for their neighbors, kids. I had 2 best friends; one Caucasian and one black. Colour was never a topic if conversation. Not negative not positive and it worked. Nobody felt margenalized. My first experience with racism was when I was an adolescent. I was beaten bloody by a group of black girls, just because I am white. I had literally no previous interaction with these girls. I didn't understand what was happening. These girls were much older than me, and I had never seen them before. They didn't live in my area. I learned a valuable lesson that day. I learned that some people are just shitty people. We can not rationalize blind hate. All we can really do is raise our children to be strong, brave, loving, and tolerant and to always stand up for those who can not stand up for themselves. This moral characteristic is colour blind. It applies to all people. We are all in this together, and at the end of the day, none of us is making it out alive, anyways...so let's make our time here, count!

I worked in a warehouse with an extremely diverse group of coworkers, all ethnicities, sexual preferences, etc. Never once did any of us treat each other differently! We were all one big happy family and still are to this day! Why can't we just be people?
