    Sir, I am your subscriber from India 🇮🇳 and want to know if I can use Chira stone is also known as laterite stone in English. Laterite is a type of soil and rock that is rich in iron and aluminum. It is commonly found in tropical areas that are hot and wet ( Ratnagiri sindhudurg , Karnataka ) . . Will it effect my Fish or plants ?

    • @shifu_tanks
      @shifu_tanks  14 днів тому

      You can definitely use Chira (laterite) stone in your aquarium setup.
      Just keep an eye on your water parameters, especially if you have fish or plants that are sensitive to pH or hardness changes.
      Laterite can slightly alter your water hardness and pH over time due to its mineral content. However, it generally does not leach harmful chemicals into the water, so it shouldn't negatively impact most fish species.

    Can i add sugar to my plant tank as Little bit of co2 to get them

    • @shifu_tanks
      @shifu_tanks  7 місяців тому

      Sugar does break down into CO2 and alcohol, but the process is unpredictable and can lead to sudden spikes or drops in CO2 levels, which can stress plants.
      Adding anything to your aquarium can alter the delicate balance. Always research and understand the potential risks before introducing new substances.

      ₹50 m sirf optimum ya Taiyo hi mil payega. At least 150 kharch karna padega ek acche food k liye jisme 50gm approx milega.

    Sir mene new big aquarium liya colorfull sant liya lekin wo pani mei sant colour chodra, h toh usse problem h ? 😓

    • @shifu_tanks
      @shifu_tanks  10 місяців тому +1

      Ha wo problem h. Sand ko color kiya jaata h pr sab sand bekar nhi hoti. Sand wapis kardo jahan se liya h aur koi dusr acchii jagah se lo.

    • @kdeepakmdr027
      @kdeepakmdr027 10 місяців тому +1

      @@shifu_tanks okay sir but unse mene call karke pocha tha bole pani change kardo ek baar baki thoda bhut colour se koi problem ni hoga because usme aqua soil bhi hai

    • @shifu_tanks
      @shifu_tanks  10 місяців тому +1

      @@kdeepakmdr027 Agar aquarium m daalne se pehle wash nhi kiya tha sand ko toh karna chaiye tha wo necessary hota h.
      1. Ab jab daal diya h sand aur fishes add nhi ki h toh sand bahar nikal k 2-3 baar saaf kardo.
      2. Agar fishes daal di h toh phir 70% water change kar do taaki zyada se zyada color bahar nikal jaaye.
      3. Thode bohot color se bohot kuch nhi bohot kuch ho jaata h. Fishes zyada time tak survive nhi kar payengi. Water jaldi kharab hoga and aqua soil aur planted h toh algae bohot jaldi aayegi.

    This person says it is from china, to be honest that gives better results and coming to the price range its 1000 rs for 50 strips, and Mayur dev provides 10 strips for 300rs, also this doesn’t even provide accurate results and the nodes on the test strips also falls off. Cheapest quality and this person talks about the we don’t purchase.
    @mayurdev first learn to provide quality then defame others

    • @shifu_tanks
      @shifu_tanks  10 місяців тому +2

      Hey just to clarify the pricing, the product that was blurred in the image costs ₹1700 for 50 strips (300 tests) and Life Aayu costs ₹290 for 10 strips (60 tests).
      So to make it equal like 50 strips (300 tests) of Life Aayu would cost ₹1,450/- which is ₹250 less than other expensive brand.
      Also I would urge you not to rely on any strip's as you would be disappointed with little shaky results. So professional water test kit is always a reliable option.
      Pro tip: try to learn more about "how to keep the balance in aquarium" and you don't have to rely on test strips anymore!
      I hope this helps ✌🏻
