I'm interested in what you found worth taking home from this land clearing, and what you almost found worth taking home. I kind of figure those truck brakes might be worth more than scrap value on the used parts market, and maybe the larger, flat pieces of aluminum semi trailer siding. But I never saw you take anything home.
Dear Chris, your videos keep me insane. Right now I’m in hospital recovering from hip replacement surgery ( with no tv service available! ) you are on valuable to my sanity lol! I watch as many as I can so keep it up man!
I thought it was very cool to watch and I learned a lot. I drove semis commercially for 30 years. I have been in all 48 states, Canada and Mexico. Didn't get rich but made a good living.
Actually, dogs like to eat grass because the enzymes in grass soothes their stomachs, so do not discourage the behavior. Just make sure that the grass he eats is safe to chew on (over-fertilization). Great video, as usual - awesome cache of two-stroke machines that I am confident you will get running ASAP. Definitely looking forward to a Part II. Cheers!
Chris, you made a lot of money on all of that scrap. Great that you made some new friends. You are a extremely hard worker and very good at negotiating with people. You sure had people loading the dumpsters for the items they wanted. Reducing your work and still getting everything done. Your final shot of the property looked like the place was pretty clean. Thanks for the video it was great.
I can't stop watching, i can't do it... you never know whats gonna turn up next. C'mon, boats, cars, pets, scrappin , hey Chris i am lovin it all!!! Keep up the great work!
First appearance of the Gusman! Such a cute puppy. You're work ethic is 2nd to none. Amazing how you were able to get others to come help with this massive project!
I love cleanup videos like this one, especially when people care for the environment and separate to recycle instead of just throwing it all in a dumpster for the landfill or even worse, dig a pit and burn half and bury the rest. Yes, please do a part 2 if you can work out a deal to continue on this project.
Absolutely wanna see part 2 it was fun seeing the methods used for breaking down that stuff. Would like to see how you'd take care of all those tires some of which are probably very well stuck in the mud. Very fun video keep up the awesome content!
It would be nice but the problem is a lot of unused property that has a bunch of junk on it people don't want to work to do it cuz feasibly is not worth it I seen a lot of places full of junk and I promise a lot of it's garbage and you have to pay to have that hold away and depending on what kind of scrap is there it might barely cover the cost of just renting equipment and having dumpsters there that's why it doesn't happen more often
@@joshjablonicky171 I understand and agree. It would be nice for the city or county to kick in enough money and resources to incentify people to clean up similar properties.
@@dalefoot8232 it would be nice but you know how that works no no City or village or township wants to pitch in with that no problem bend you over and raping you on taxes and everything else it makes no sense they have ways of putting money aside for all kinds of projects that they deem to be something done but it's ridiculous. In my town there's about four empty lots for houses used to be within an eighth of a mile in my house and every one of them is a garden now like community garden there's a couple that anybody who lives in this township could garden in it and they have a couple other ones where you can garden in it you just have to help pitch in with cleaning and stuff like that but the watch we're kind of just taking over by the people who live here they were trashy looking bunch of garbage in them not to the extent where you needed multiple dumpsters and stuff like that but people got the stuff out of there and now I'm staring at one right now and it's mostly a flower garden but it's a lot better than what used to be there
I've had a 2305 with the same set-up as yours (200CX w/Backhoe) for just about 16 years now. It's gotten me through all those harsh Vermont winters on my mountain pass. You sure put that little boy to its limits. Nice to see what little boys are capable of. Thanks!
Well hell yes I want to see a part two! There was a LOT going on in this video, I am wore out from watching you run around LOL. Thumbs UP to you Chris, I hope that you and Jen have an awesome weekend. Oh yes and Vickie was not afraid to jump into the thick of that and get her hands dirty!
Dude this was fantastic!!!! Always love yard clean ups you never know what you'll find. Iv scrapped for about 10 yrs now off & on. Price depending!!!! Its way up now. The chainsaw to the goose neck 🤣🤣 works like a cut off wheel
It seems that you turned a backbreaking job into a lucrative situation. I want to go out and get me a shit-kicking truck and see what I can do salvaging. You make some really good videos and I not only enjoy but learn so much from you.
Dear NNKH guy 👍👌👏 Nice job! I absolutely like this kind of video and I would definitely love to see a part 2! I bet that J.C. Smith projects would have been interested in those two heavy duty trailer chassis. But I don't know how far away he lives. Thanks a lot for making explaining recording editing uploading and sharing. Best regards luck and health to all involved people.
Good job Chris you made out pretty good at the scrap yard but that's a lot of so whether or not it was profitable or not at least you were helping someone out cool video like that very much
You are like I wish I was, so positive, full of energy, see the best in almost everyone, more than anything, getter done attitude. Awesome, may God bless you always.
great video for morning coffee. I would like to see more of scrap stuff. I think you have just inherited a new business. You find the stuff and put a group of great workers. I was raised in the oilfield working for my Dad who had 3 drilling rigs. I worked in the Monkey board at 55 ft. builds great work ethic. enjoy your videos.
I knew a guy that took two old container trailers and cut and welded them side by side and put then across a little creek. Used 4x10s he cut himself and turned it into a beautiful covered bridge for his cottage..
Oh yes. Love seeing shit getting torn up. One of the best things in life is being able to break things. (and makin' cash!) This was a nice change of pace. Keep on doing it as long as you like it. I'll watch.
Hi, Chris, I recently discovered your program. I am watching every one of your films. I really like your tenacity, moxie and wide range of knowledge. I am a retired and disabled farm machinery product support specialist for an agricultural machinery company. I want you to live long and prosper. A couple of notes: I really wish you could figure out a way to protect your eyes - please think about it. And I wish you would take advantage of the wide range of mechanics gloves that are out there. All the best and “Go getum!!!!!”
I’m in the process of cleaning up a property now that I am purchasing. It’s a lot of work but a lot of fun. Scrapped one camper trailer and have a motorhome in process. Got about 2 thousand tires to deal with.
Really nice job on both the work and the video. If I lived closer to ya, I bet my backhoe would get used a hell of a lot more. Could've came in handy, lol but then it wouldn't have been as much fun cutting and tearing through stuff like you did.
Brilliant. like you i spend my time repairing cars but every now and then a bit of scrapping is good for the soul .nice job a axe is good for slicing aluminium,
Fun video! I like how you see value in all that stuff, either for reuse or as scrap. It's actually very eco friendly to recycle. Take that aluminium for instance, it takes a LOT of energy to produce aluminium from bauxite. So it is a great thing to reuse existing aluminium. Same for iron/steel. Even more so for copper because copper is getting increasingly rare while demand for it is going up. (Think about electric motors for BEV's)
Much respect to you for cleaning all that mess up and making a few bucks. I agree that the city should take tires and they should recycle them into something useful. I gave you a thumbs up and I am already subscribed. Yours is one of the best channels out there. Thanks!
Excellent !!! I sent this to my buddies whom hAve the same scenario going on- DOWN TO THE ATC! Swear! I know they’re gonna love it, hoping it will further motivate to finish up. Thx!
I spent much of my youth rock climbing, doing triathlons, open water swims and chasing girls. What a different life, but our work ethic and energy output were the same! 😅😂
Remember my days at the scrap yard in Michigan they don't pay to much now days I've always worked with scrap junk cars old batteries alternators starters etc.
Great video Chris little bit of ever thing that 3 wheeler is killer that old container trailer some trucker who pulls containers would gave probably more than scrap any ways great video 😎

If Chinese steel has lead in it, does than mean the rust will make us stupid?
If you are good at inspecting tires quickly, you can often find good, or at least mediocre tires in those illegal tire dumps.

1. Your great atitude.
2. Work ethic
3. Knowledge and teaching.

duncan, i bet you have those qualities too
My back hurts watching this video. Chris you're the only guy I'm gonna watch clean up trash. So take that for what it's worth. 😉😁

Something about that little electric chain saw getting used delights me!
I sure appreciate the fact that you see value in old trailers - automobiles etc. Everything has value!
I can honestly say these “Will it run” segments are the only videos I watch start to finish. This guy is amazing!!!
You are one hell of a worker need more people like you
