the reason why there are so many latin guitars or riffs it's because they are all mexican and i love it, do selfish machines next definitely my fav album from them!!
Im not even sure which one of the first 3 albums are the best in my opinion
ptv has a silly tendency to make the most hype songs you wanna headbang with the most SAD backstories example: a match into water is about vic’s ex girlfriend who beat cancer, hold on til may is about a girl he used to hang out with who came from a bad family, all of their songs have such sad meanings most of the time
also i recommend listening to the selfish machine album next or misadventures
and bulls in the bronx is about a girl who k*lled herself

when i learned the story behind bulls in the bronx i was so heartbroken and then i realized how heartbreaking the lyrics are in the context of the story
Hold on til may was about a girl who committed suicide not a girl from a bad family

Even after bulls in the Bronx when he said "we need a solo" I was like bro you got one with an acoustic guitar
i don't think it actually makes sense to compare ptv and mcr. these groups are very different and unique. you've been waiting for a guitar solo several times, but there was a breakdown 🤣 thank you for the reaction as always. hopefully the next album will be misadventures. to be honest, all their albums are worth attention.
what i like about ptv is that they experiment a lot and it's often impossible to predict the structure of the song. and obviously incredible vocals, guitars and drums. i became a fan of them in the fall, because after mcr i fell in love with music again and began to discover more and more new artists
The First Punch is my favorite underrated PTV song 🥹🥹🥹
if you liked the first punch, i suggest their first album "a flair for the dramatic", it has some of thei best guitar riffs in my opinion and some harder songs because the guitarist and bassist (tony and jaime) were in a metalcore (?) band before pierce the veil

I rarely ever subscribe to anyone but you fill a niche that I need. Most people react to pop or hip-hop or rap albums which I love. But my itch for pop punk, alternative, metalcore album full reactions is so hard to find. So thank you. I appreciate it very much. I hope you keep growing man ❤️
a flair for the dramatic has a lot of cool guitar riffs I definitely recommend that album by them

I see people talking about "this album" is good and "Misadventures is next" but let's be honest here, Selfish Machines is their best (the album before collide w the sky)
Personally with almost every band there's the Big Album that people will always call the best or people will react to first. But the album previous is always the best IMO.
Selfish Machines IS the big album though, most people still never gave Misadventures a fair shot, some people even have the nerve to call it pop punk 🤣 I know Circles is a decently big single but definitely not bigger than Caraphernelia, and definitely not representative of the sound of the album on the whole. Misadventures has more "dreamy" songs than other albums which Nacho seems to like, but also songs like The Divine Zero, which goes hella hard, and don't forget that intro solo for Gold Medal Ribbon, I can see him falling in love in my head haha!
Don't get me wrong SM is a genre classic and is full of bangers but it IS more along the lines of the heavy stuff in this album and I think it'd be better if he looped back around to it after just doing their most recent album, getting to explore their more other stuff first.

I would love if you reacted to OK Computer by Radiohead (obviously after whatever you have planned next). It’s very different from things you have previously reacted to, but it is one of the best albums of all time (in mg opinion), and I think you would love it.

In truth, ptv has some incredible guitars, they are better than a lot of artists imo but it’s all lowkey hidden under the main singer’s voice half the time 💀
