The GoPro rear microphone wasn’t switching to use both microphones. We didn’t hear the issue till the video was done, and didn’t wanna scratch this video for you guys. The GoPro Mod apparently is known to have issues.
Same here, GoPro has gotten worse over the years. Built in microphones sometimes will switch from front and back to only front on mine. Fixes it when you reset GoPro but shouldn’t half to do that.
@@redbanditracing your arnt kidding with sledge problems, I only have mine because I got it for 400 bucks , but now I have over 1500 in it lol , but it weighs 17.5 lbs with batterys😬, 4mm thick gpm Chassis, thicker GPM shock towers , GPM reverse motor mount , max 6 ESC 4092 motor GPM camber and tow links and many many other things
They are releasing a newer version of the sledge should be out soon, the guy that owns the hobby shop I go to said it's going up 80 bucks and will come factory with belted tires and aluminum will be color matched to the body not sure if anything else is changed
I have an erevo 2.0 and a sledge. Two huge problems with the revo are the small battery trays and it is extremely difficult to work on. The sledge is MUCH easier to work on and I can put lager batteries in it.
I have a brand new E-Revo V2, that I ran twice in front of my house. Didn't even run the packs down much and then I find out Traxxas discontinued them! Now, should I sell it, or keep it?
Definitely keep it! It’s a great car, and going to be a very rare car too. Traxxas will keep supplying parts for about a decade, and other companies like RPM will continue as well.
So just like the kraton it needs several hundreds in upgrades just to be durable. For the price their charging for these trucks, you shouldn't have to upgrade the entire thing including a new chassis.
I can understand the differentials, and shock caps because you can run 4s and be fine lowering that power just like any RC. But the chassis, and shock towers are very weak and Traxxas should have strengthened those better.
In conclusion the comparison is bias because the dad can clearly drive a million times better then the son .. ive watched a couple of vids and its like every car the son drives is worst .. son should be a camera man
We have both driven each car before making this video. We both agree the sledge is easier to control, while the erevo is harder. If you have watched our RC Clash series, you’ll see that we always are neck and neck when it comes to driving.
gotta get a better mic, can't hear you.

I have earbuds in and I can hear just fine....

Chassis bag was a good idea open center diffs need to be sealed
Sweet video guys love both those trucks
Great review. They are both great I have two first gen and two 2.0. The sledge is pretty sick
Thank you, hopefully a 2nd Gen Sledge fixes some of those issues.

Great video! Makes me want to get out and run my Revo!

Might be a sledge ultimate design. Similar to the rustler and X-trucks
I personally prefer a plastic chassis for bashing. Waiting for the Maxx Xrt or Maxx Revo (however they label it) to be released.
Agreed someone should make a composite chassis as an upgrade. I bet a lot of issues would be resolved.
A Maxx Revo would be slick!

Sledge is definitely easier to work on. If you’re using the Traxxas batteries, there’s nothing wrong with the erevo battery trays.
Love the comparison vids, I'd have to go with the Sledge but the Revo is a awesome rig also...
I just got 2 of my sledge new paint job all custom now. I converted the sledge TRX Ignition Edition and sledge TRX havoc edition
Sounds awesome, if you have IG tag us or send us some pics.
@@redbanditracing it’s on my UA-cam channel
I like the erevo more but there wont be any point geting a new one once there all sold out of the store's
Not sure what you mean sorry. But if you find one it’s definitely worth the purchase.
Love both of them I want a sledge 😊Nice video Thanks 🙏
Okay so conclusion buy both 🔥

Buddy of mine broke the motor shaft too… traxxas sent him new motor

@@redbanditracing Thanks for the reply! I've been toiling over what I should do.. I really like this E-Revo! :)

RPM bumper is not good i have 2 times new rpm on Sledge both times bend it. i think wast Money RPM bumper.
I’ve landed a few times on the front and it’s been great. It’s not meant to lawn dart the Sledge constantly on it.
revo 2.0 and E-Maxx > Then sledge and Xrt🤣
Interesting take
