- Hey everyone, in this video we got our Traxxas Rustler 4x4 VXL and the E-Revo 2.0. We put them both through a series of challenges to see which one is the best!
We did a speed test, measured with our GNSS performance analyzer, a stability test, a donut test, and took out the ramp for some jumps!
Both of these cars preformed very well, and we would recommend either one of them for you guys! If you guys have any future VS you’d like to see, let us know in the comments!
Below we put a link to where you can purchase these RC’s, find specifications, and parts.

This is the kind of youtube video I want to see. Not like other videos of guys driving in the car talking about crap all the way to softball field. then stupid b-roll with music. This is a good informative video thank you.
Thank you, I agree. When I watch review videos I wanna hear about the cars so I know what I’m buying.
Just got my rustler vxl. To be factory with a chassis brake. It does good so far.
That’s awesome, you’ll enjoy it.
Gonna get the rustler vxl just because u won’t be able to afford the extra couple hundred for the e-revo. I want a larger rc because I’ve always had 1/16th scale R/C’s. Also it would probably handle better too, especially compared to my 2wd bandit
There's holes on the back of the brace to fit the lights
Use the t-Maxx 4x4 wheelie bar, it fits and get the aluminum wheels.
Did you drop down with your pinion gear? I bought badlands, I think they're the same size with what you have on yours. I dropped to 10 tooth and it seems better with heat. Before adding the EHD kit I was breaking stub axles like crazy! Anyways just curious. Thanks for the good info/ video!
Didn’t half to drop the gear down, haven’t had any overheating. Glad you enjoyed it thank you.
Never understood why the e revo is called 10th scale it's obviously way bigger than that
The Maxx is a descent size 1/10 scale, and the E-Revo Dwarfs it. The scale for these are very far apart.
@@redbanditracing it's even bigger than 1/8 scale racing buggies, much closer to 1/8 bashers like Traxxas sledge and arrma 6s models
@@redbanditracing also worth noting that e-revo is substantially larger than the nitro revo 😂😂😂
The first Revo 3.3 was quite a lot smaller. The e-revo 2.0 has wider arms, is longer and have bigger tires.. all this combine crates the effect that it's a 1/8... i rrally don't why they still call it a 1/10 it's not anymore.
Getting good on two wheels
Can you do mini e revo vs rustler
We sure can
Rustler is very fast, I give this to the ERevo though
Good ol Traxxas 10th scales
It’s obvious they are both 1/10 scale right
your E- revo is slow as hell i cant even pull my trigger 3/4 els it lifts up i also did a speed test on my football field and was going 55mph and running out of run way so more likely 60mph.
How did you know it was going 55 bro? Were u runnin next to it cuz ur fafb 😂😂😂
There are many variables to consider before telling someone their car is slow as hell. What tires are you using, center diff fluid, gear ratio, type of lipos, etc. And how are you getting your speeds recorded? I can control my E-Revo so it doesn’t pop wheelies all the time.
YO YUR MOUTH IS FAST AS HELL TRIGGER BOI
The erevo 2.0 is a 1/8 th scale
Why do you think it’s a 1/8 and not a 1/10?
@@redbanditracing it only uses 1/10 servos, the wheel bases and price point and The power system I also believe solidifys as a 1/8 scale. I have a Armma granite same size tenth. I also have a 6s outcast ,the erevo is same size side by side. It's closer to slede
