Just hearing the Little Big Planet theme brings me incredible joy and nostalgia, i really wish i could go back to that moment in time for a day, one of the best games for family bonding
These long form DYKG videos are genuinely so nice. They're interesting to watch the full thing but they're also nice for background noise while working on something or while sleeping or hell while I'm having an issue with anxiety since it can often help to hear voices as it doesn't feel like I'm alone.
These vids are meant to fall asleep to, but i just binge watch them. You guys always have new and exciting facts so i never get tired. I especially love all of the translation work you do!
DYKG is probably what really got me into gaming. My family was lower middle class and it's only me and my mom now. If it weren't for these videos when I was younger, I don't know if I would've been asking for games for Christmas every year since like, 2012. These videos were basically my go-to after school and I loved hearing about games I couldn't but thought I could maybe one day play. I genuinely don't think I'd be as passionate or as creative as I am now without gaming, and I fully credit DYKG for getting me to realize that my hobby as a kid was way more special than I realized.
Man i grew up on LBP and if u played that first one That beginning song just brings back straight memories. Used to hate it sm at the time bc it was annoying but Love hearing it rn man good times 💯💯👏🏼
Oh, I loved Little Big Planet as a kid. I could only play it at a friend's house since my family didn't have Playstation, but still one of my faves. I wished they had been able to release the extra assets in an extras section in later releases or something. All of them sound like cool puzzle mechanics or features. Thanks for a great video to relax too.
Caption for the Bayonetta thumbnail: "who wants to sleep with mommy?". Great thumbnail, but the artist should have added the PS3 console as a nice touch for this topic video.
Great video! You guys always manage to dig out facts that I’ve never heard before, even though the PS3’s been my only gaming device since I was a kid. I don’t think I’ll ever grow tired of it though, I have so many great memories from timeless games like the Arkham series and MGSV
Thanks for these video compilations! These are great for having something videogame related playing in the background while working or for a way to unwind and fall asleep to! Keep them coming DYKG.
God i miss those chill days playing R&C on my PS2. But dam, those early Clank concepts are wild! And Insomiacs naming for the fames are always fun lol.
i immediately pull a thousand yard stare whenever lbp is mentioned. Truly the pinnacle of my childhood, i still have so many online levels engraved into my head, i remember a level where you could play as a family and for some reason you could also play as some small blue cookie monster looking thing lol, then there was that one creator who made several plane crash survivals like survive a plane crash in the jungle, man.. i miss lbp so much i start yapping
I know that sometimes people can be annoyed whenever DYKG makes the community updates for their compilations but I don’t mind it at all because not only it’s something interesting to listen to while doing work, but I also appreciate the new original art done for the thumbnails. Keep up the good work DYKG
Part of what makes DYKG special to me is the commitment to quality and veracity of everything they do, its truly a pleasure to watch and rewatch the videos
I am super thankful that y’all have this cause I used to just leave auto play in and it messed up my recommended. I can confidently fall asleep and still keep y’all up there in my feed.
I love sleeping while leaving this channel in the back. Since I work at night, it really helps with the noise during the day, and I get to learn facts while sleeping.
Just wanna say it was you guys and game sleuth/ pop fiction that sparked my love for video game myths and trivia, love your guy's more analytical and obscure videos lately. Can't wait to see more
It was a really unique era, mgs4 looks good still but i would love if konami remastered it with a resolution touch up but all and all there's just so many games from that era that were so much fun and should be able to be downloaded on ps4/ps5 at the least.
Still crazy to think that MGS V released on PS3, honestly makes it the best console if you want to experience the whole series, its got 1-5, the MSX games, as well as Peace Walker.
The song at the start of the Little big plant section is called: "Get it together" by The Go! Team. Its on the album "Thunder, Lightning, Strike" They're pretty awesome and the album "Get it together" is on is phenomenel
Great video, I'm just sad that we didn't get more facts about the PS3 exclusive Ratchet & Clank games. I guess it still counts since there's the R&C Trilogy/Collection but it still would've been cool to present more facts about the Future games themselves
LBP was honestly such a great game series. I loved it as a kid and the logic aspect in LBP2 creative got me interested in Computer Science later on. Hope there'll be another lbp game sometime.
I really enjoy those long format videos! Always listening to those while working as background noise to help me concentrate. (It's only background noise because I watch them so often that I know them by heart). Thanks for your work guys!
I like the idea of these videos. I’m always looking for stuff to fall asleep to. These longer videos are a great way to do that while getting cool info out of it.
It's so awesome to learn about games that never came to be or fun facts about how certain games came to be, and watching all these videos put together in an hour long (or longer) compilation is so awesome. Love the videos, and keep up the good work!
These videos have been so nice for helping me wind down while getting ready to go to sleep, especially as someone with ADHD, it's so hard to relax a mind that needs constant stimuli.
i’ve learned that i can’t fall asleep to your guys videos anymore bc they give me nightmares for some reason but it’s always nice watching these, especially when i didn’t grow up plying too many playstation games (my family was a nintendo family)
Arkham Asylum was the first game to really get me interested in games as a kid because of my fixation with superheros. Cool to see it featured in this video!
Really appreciate everything you guys do. I love learning facts I never wouldve known otherwise. I bring up what I learn to friends and then tell them all they should check you guys out!
I've always been a fan of these videos. I love learning new facts about games. And lately these videos has been helping me fall asleep. Keep up the amazing work. You're doing great!
ps3 definitley holds a special place in my heart for being the system i felt i was able to put the most of myself into by playing at the time current games and older childhood games as i grew to need the nostalgia
Man these longer formats are great to both kill time (something good to watch) AND be great background filler Oddly soothing, these info dump sounds are easy on the ears
One of the best things about these videos is that I can always come back to them to pick up on the facts again from the time i fell asleep based on my last viewing
When i saw this was a clips channel, this wasnt what i was expecting, but it was a pleasant surprise! I like to listen to things like this while im doing stuff
Love your channels guys! Been following the original channel for over a decade now and you never cease to surprise me with at least one new fact every video! Keep up the good work!
I love listening to these videos at work. I learn new stuff all the time even about some of my favorite games I thought I knew everything about. Keep up the great work guys!!!
Metal Gear Solid is and always will be my favorite game series. The graphics and story were so advanced and mindblowing and they still absolutely hold up. I'm excited to get the collection on Switch later this month.
I didn’t own a ps3 until like 3 years ago but still, I feel some weird nostalgia towards it! So many gems on that system! Awesome video as always folks!
Was so nice to be able to just boot up every PS1/PS2/PS3 game all on one device back in the day.
I'm nostalgic for the GameCube boot up myself
all hail the pc master race 😋✌
You had BC PS3?
@@jonnyfatboy7563I like PC better too but that has nothing to do with this

Thank you guys for having a playlist to fall asleep to! Been struggling to find anything to relax me and this helps!
I agree 100%. I have trouble falling back to sleep in the middle of the night and this has been so useful.

Except when they repeat the same facts over several videos.....there I ruined your comment lmfao
Bayonetta runs terribly on PS3, but I respect the hustle.
What a shit port. At least the Switch version is flawless
True, but it did made more money than the Xbox 360, though.
Yeah I was going to say the same thing. Who thinks of Bayo when they think of iconic PS3 releases?

It's crazy how great so many PS3 titles still look today. I've always thought MGS4 is especially impressive for coming out in 2008!

Bayonetta 1 on ps3 is the worst version of that game and she's being used to represent ps3 facts lmao

I always wondered why Sega did Bayonetta PS3 dirty to Sony. Then I remembered Sega getting absolutely destroyed by Sony in the late 90s.
nintendo did bayonetta sooo good. im afraid the ip would be lost for years if they didnt get it

These vids have been the best background content to see/listen to when I play or do chores. TYSM
Love putting these on before bed. Really help out when going to sleep. I like watching them without sleeping as well so I can enhance gamer knowledge.
Man, I love this video. PS3 was my childhood along with Little Big Planet. The good old days...
So nostalgic for the ps3 era of gaming, it’s a shame a lot of these games are locked on the ps3, we need ports of these to modern consoles.
Thank you for releasing these compilation videos. I often sleep work UA-cam on in the background so these videos are very helpful
