Fantastic video as you show it without having to remove the airbox/air intake. I'll be doing this to mine as it came up with the P0121 error. I really felt that sigh at the end! I think I'll cover the rubber hose with a glove or something as I can imagine when I do it something would be bound to fall into it knowing me.
This is not a throttle it is the anti shudder valve if you get the code P0120 and I also I had shudder on turning off the ignition this needs the clean out you show but it operates twice once for starting and once for stopping. So this is not like a throttle like on a Carburetor.
How did you get the left side bolt untighten so easily at 3:45, not only I couldnt get to that bolt with tools because of small clearance, it would be very tight to unscrew so with the tool youre using on the video. I wouldnt have enough leverage to torque as required.
Hello, I am very impressed with your wonderful and accurate work and I wish you to progress in the content that you present to the world/ but I have a problem with my car I have a golf 6 engine bse 1.6 2011 The car does not have any problems on the computer but there is a problem that I do not know what to solve the car while driving the engine stops suddenly Sometimes the car does not start and I am afraid when I drive it among people and there is a traffic crisis. What is the solution? For information, the fuel filter, air filter and fuel pump have been changed, and I did not solve the problem. I want help and thank you
Best thing to do is disconnect your battery completely leave it for 15mins then start disconnecting the throttle body by taking electric plug of etc. Clean it connect it back. If you do it this way it won't need aligning as the ecu hasn't recognised it being disconnected. To be honest if you clean it and attach it n it still drives funny like it did just take it to a garage who's got vagcom they'll probs charge you a tenner and they'll just alighn it THATS IF IT NEEDS it
Only the half of the job. You should of remove the upper pipe (the metal one) and cleaned as well. This way you did it will not last for long until it will be dirty again, because all the dirt will fall back to the throttle body. The rubber pipe you disconnected should also be covered for not fall in any dirt. Bye the way it's a good video!!!

I’ve done it but it’s so “funnyng” hard to put the back side screw back.
It's a great video. I recommend it!
Don't forget to take care of the "hot" egr filter in metal hose upper the flap valve. There are lot of soot also.
Yes and on another vid a guy shows to turn it 180 degrees so it recirculates the soot away from the throttle body…I might try that too 🤔
Great tutorial, thanks alot
Čavo,dobrý si.👍
Very good 😌
More easy If you loose the lower part of the rubber hose
is that throttle body or antishudder valve?
Same thing
@@harryh2157 after changing do you know do we have do aligment/adaptation of new part or it do by itself

@@harryh2157 Harry, tnx for your answer. Best regards
Why not clean EGR? Crazy!!! EGR always more carbon than ASV.
