Naah, simplified is a better word for that. Also, some languages were literally created as a "beautified" version, like portueguese compared to spanish (there is so many unnecessary embellishments and stupid grammatical rules in portuguese, it can be a nightmare, specially for foreigners)

He wants to say he doesn't care about his deeds not "It's pity I'm not the one who have the rights to judge you" but now if I have to choose between one evil and another then I prefer not to choose at all - is translated as "but if I will have(it isn't a correct construction, but it is how it is in Russian) to choose between one evil and another I wouldn't choose at all". Why did he start to talk about future?!?! The issue is about now. The reason I despise translations

Он про конкретный момент говорит, про прямо сейчас, а не про какое то там будущее. Если ты знаешь английский, то ты видишь что фигово переведено. Согласись, что, "Но сейчас, если ..." - дословный перевод, мы так не говорим. Ты можешь жаловаться, что не сделали дословный тупой перевод, игнорируя особенность нашего языка. "Там" явно не с гугла переводят тексты
