    I've created a Patreon.. It won't affect anything for the channel, but it's mostly for supporting me, and also giving you some pretty good perks such as early access to future videos, behind the scenes on videos, member shout outs at the start/end of videos, and some others. You aren't forced to become a member, but if you do, I appreciate it massively ❤

    The Truth is in my opinion one of the most important aspects of Assassin's Creed lore, since it details more than what the games depict. It really goes to show that the War between assassins and templars and the hunt for relics of Eden has been going on for over a millenia, all across the world.

    My favorite part about the older AC games were how you actually felt like a schizo conspiracy theorist trying to unravel human history and put together the pieces. Like how humanity was actually created by what are essentially God like beings as workers, or how magic and all religions are real, but only through the P.O.E. The modern games dont hit the same in those regards.

    Things like "The Truth" are what AC has been missing IMO (I haven't played Mirage or Valhalla so if they have something like that then dope). It's been missing that mystery element that leads towards the horror of the unknown. There's a soul inside the machine, has always been a fascinating topic for me and I do like how it was explore in the Ezio games. Also big missed opportunity with Juno, who could've been a cool spin on that concept, instead of "There's a soul inside the Machine", Juno was "There's a god trapped in the machine and It Wants Out"

    One thing i liked the most about old AC titles is how writers played and flirt with the ways/reasons how historical events came to be. The final outcome was almost perfectly accurate to real life history. But the way how it came to be was fiction and i love that creative alt history path they took. The last AC title that bothered to interest you in studying history was Origin with they Tours mode in which they led you basically thru interactive museum of Egyptology. I freaking love that they included that.
    So naturally now when i see AC Shadows i feel like they took a dump on their own legacy.
    They really replaced devs that love history with devs that wants to rewrite history.

As ths older i get i realized these were lores that were set up, showing those who worked with Patrice Desilets were ahead of time. And the Rifts were actually about a plot that would about to begin for Desmond. Showing Assassin's Creed had a different plan. Since Desilets was forced out of Ubisoft. Now the series have been contradict of it's lore so many times and retcons what was already set up. It sad that the series has turned inconsistent.

    Honestly, Assassin’s Creed 2 was creepy when you tried doing the glyph puzzles. There was something about when you either scanned the photo of Joan de Arc burning on a cross where you hear her screaming late at night that made you question what you were playing. Then when you’re scanning photos, the captions like “THEY MADE IT LOOK LIKE AN ACCIDENT” or “HE ALMOST BEAT THEM” where it was in all caps was unnerving. And the CGI for the Adam and Eve clip was unnerving as well since they didn’t exactly look like humans but humanoid

    I adore these puzzles they add so much to the lore and they can be genuinely creepy
    Though I'm still confused about giving Houdini an Apple of Eden. Like....the guy was an escape artist, how does an Apple of Eden help him? Apples mind control people and make them see things, they don't give you the power to phase through straightjackets.

    That's why to this day i reply AC 2. Brotherhood i still haven't but it was so damn awesome to have this super amazing story of Ezio in game coupled with the wildest conspiracy unraveling. I've completed the game 3-4 times and i still do everything every time. Not to mention, the seal collecting for the best armor they've ever made too.

    Whoever wrote this is so incredibly well read tying every consiparcy from the annunaki to freemasonry other occult societies and even modern ones like telsa and JFK. I wouldn't be surprised if this or parts of it is actually more accurate than we think.

    Weird fact, but The Truth puzzles even connect to Assassins Creed movie and video games like AC II: Discovery and AC Rebellion with references to Staff, Torquemada, Spanish Brotherhood etc.
    Maybe not even a fact, but its a neat little detail.

    Ubisoft broke the lore because how did clay kazmerick get the footage of Adam and Eve when in AC Lore, genetic memories are only clear and accurate to about a couple thousand years.

    • @elvinpena6273
      @elvinpena6273 Місяць тому +1

      Man you get a clip of Adam and Eve because those were the primary gene sequences thus allowing access to the past through genes.

      I always assumed Abstergo and the Templars had this information and Clay found it and hid it in the glyphs. Hence why Abstergo doesn’t want humanity to know about the origin of humans since they’ll realize aliens artifacts were being used to manipulate society in their favor.

    • @Nought_8
      @Nought_8 Місяць тому

      No, i dont think Abstergo had any of those genes, becausein AC Unity there are several documents from abstergo showing that they are struggling to find Dna from a sage so that they can sequence the memories of Aita and get footage of ISU era.@elvinpena6273

    • @Nought_8
      @Nought_8 Місяць тому

      @@MrMetalbanditThat's a very good hypothesis but it still beds the question of how they were able to get the footage.
      In Unity Abstergo tried running back the ANIMUS to the tume when the isu were around and could only get fragments of different frames. If they were the ones to get the clip of Adam and Eve they would also have been able to do it again.
      I believe that ubisoft broke the lore of the ANIMUS just to justify choices in AC Odyssey.
      But I'm an open minded person please point any evidence I'm my direction that might say otherwise.

    The depth this lore went to without properly being able to finish the way the original director wanted is so annoying, Desmond was meant to find “Eve” and leave as the “gods”only left a spaceship in the AC3 temple. they couldn’t save earth

  • @Ahx-el9qr

    I think it’s possible for an Assassins creed Analogue horror. Could be like the assassins revealing the “truth” to people for recruitment and to warn against Templars of the time. (My idea isn’t the best)
