This series really is a ‘for the love’ project for me. I love reading every one of your comments, and hearing you engaging with the series like this is amazing! 👍🏼😊
Thank you, I have just watched all 21 episodes over the last week. Inspiring and addictive.
Why is that? Are you not getting money for this? No doubt you deserves more views, though as a person who is also a deer in the headlights of life atm, I enjoy your videos.
I love what you're doing. All the people are so interesting. You add the magic by making strangers comfortable and willing to talk. God bless. Please continue.
Please do more! I don't think you realise the positive effect these videos have on people.
They are so good you forget to like and leave a comment. I have just watched about 25 in a row... keep them up. The human race is an interesting one filled with brilliant loving souls and thats what we wantx
Superb...... I could watch hours and hours of this. You've an amazing talent to open peoples souls. Best wishes.... Steve.
Thanks Steve. Glad you liked it!
same i watch so much of this...he should do this in every major city!!!!
Incredible that a few words written by a teacher when he was a kid have resonated and stayed with him his whole life.
You never know the effect of what you say might have on someone or how it might inspire them.
You give a story to the storyless. I have grown up in London but moved to Seychelles a few years ago. Its a tiny island in the middle of the Indian Ocean. Every time I go back to my hometown, I am now struck by the overwhelming anonymity of life on the city's streets. Identity is absorbed into a vibrating mass of untold stories and broken eye contact. This video series has opened a crack onto that anonymity, giving we who have been told to fear the stranger a glimpse into their rich and varied lives.
You have to be careful who you talk to in London, they may follow you home and butcher you. No joke.
We have traded our humanity and have become a disconnected society in an electronic environment.
Soulless, sadness and searching for sensationalism. This is not the kind of life our Creator intended us to live. If you choose to even call it living.
I am a middle aged man who lived in London when I was 19. Oh how I wish I had met amazing people like these. God bless them all. Peace
Wonderful stuff. You make the city feel so connected for the uniqueness of its people. Absolutely lovely.
These videos are still my favorite thing in UA-cam. I don't watch them as soon as the notification pops up. I wait for the right time to enjoy.
I had kind of a similar experience with a teacher, also someone not easy to be around. Got goosebumps when the poet told his story.
Thanks for your comment. I do the same with my favourite videos :)
Seriously Pablo. The gift you have for creating intimate human connections between recordings and people watching through a screen is unworldly. I never laugh or weep as deeply as when I watch this series. Thank you for exploring the world in this way and sharing your discoveries with us!
Thanks for the lovely comment. I’m so glad you’re enjoying the series!
Real humans being human. Strong is the force with them.
That's why I love humans. Humans must & alway's come first in life. Alway's have time to listen & be kind on your journey. Keep it real. Be you
Do not let media fear infect you or your mind. Live the dream.
Oh i got a poem from this gentelman last year! It is called "Blue moon" and he actually recited whole so he knows them all by heart.
How much did he charge?
@@marcusp905 It's pay what you want
Lovely and heartwarming humanity, as always. Thank you Pablo.
I have met the poet man last year and I bought his poem about love haha I love your videos on different people of London sometimes a city can feel lonely but when u get up close you realise everyone is similar with stories of their own. :)
I love what you are doing in this series. You have a genuine inquisitiveness about you, which is cloaked with grace and empathy. I'm at once amazed at how people open up to you, and yet I'm not, if you know what I mean. Your city is my one single most favorite place in the world, and I thank you for allowing me to enjoy it vicariously.
Thank you Leslie :)
We need more 'eccentrics', so interesting hearing all of their views
i'd love to see this series go to Liverpool & Glasgow
3:50 - this man is voice over of Divinity 2? Such a wonderful voice!
I have so many poems Joseph wrote and read to me, when I lived in London I used to visit him frequently. He’s a beautiful human! 💚
Where is he I want to buy his poems
that's fantastic! 😀
you Make us all fall in love with London again and again and we get to see you So many different people from different backgrounds cultures interest customs. I love travelling but when I watch your channel or episodes of London streets I feel as though I've taken travels with you. 😇🙏 Beautiful content and gratitude for sharing. i like the French guy.
So simple and good... and simplicity is the hardest thing. Diversity is a blessing... this is London. Hope we'll meet on the street.
I am so addicted to these videos that I have only just discovered. They are amazingly put together and the conversations are always captivating, it's fascinating having a glimpse into a strangers life, knowing they go through struggles just like myself. It's actually astounding at how little views these videos have. Keep up the awesome work, you should do this across cities in the world.
For us mere mortals, these conversations are only accessible after a few pints, you dive straight into it.
repression. You need to open up and not rely on drink to get you there
Talent everywhere..wonderful to see. The poetry was very special.
This series has made me realise how intelligent some homeless people are. There's more to some of them in their stories
The use of the term "homeless people" sets aside people experiencing homelessness and makes them a class in their own right. An underclass. A problem. It is a misnomer. Everyone has talent, and everyone has social capital. Everyone is interesting. Homelessness is not a destination, it is a transition. And it is not a lifestyle choice. We are all people.
The insinuation in the OP is that someone didn't realise that someone sleeping rough might be intelligent and the term 'homeless people' is used to define a class of people with hugely negative connotations, along with phrases like 'the homeless'. All quite dehumanising, really, and sets us to the task of managing problems, not people. It's great this film made someone think about people who have no accommodation differently. Homelessness should not be allowed to define anybody. You rocking up and calling me an idiot and drawing your own conclusions by your own extension of my argument (not mine) is obviously your right, but I'd respectfully suggest it makes you look both offensive and foolish.
I love the poet, he is the real deal....pure joy!
favourite series..KEEP IT UP... because it keeps me away from the street:)
Always good to watch another instalment in this awesome series. Thanks again for sharing 👊👍
Thanks for watching! :)
In a weird way this inspires me to do me and not try to conform. The guy with the guitar and the poet are so unique. Wish I could talk with them in person. This life is a beautiful struggle.
Seriously Pablo this is just fantastic work mate - in so many ways.
And uniquely London.
If I had to explain what London is like as a city I’d just point them in this direction!
The poet is like someone you would meet in a cryptic role playing video game, love his particular energy. He's the reason AI will never fully 'crack' poetry, too much humanity, idiosyncrasy and lived experience flowing through him.
please tell me he exists online somewhere i can visit??
"The words that cost him tears, have bought my joy"
The poet. the poet. Wish I could hear more of those poems.
same
So great to see this series back, great work pablo!
Thanks Chris!
Thank you Pablo for making my lunchbreak an enlightening one. A little window into peoples lives.
Just came across this! Love seeing and hearing the genuine human condition in all these videos!!
In fact , Pablo , your streets of London videos remind me of something that came out a few years ago. I think it was a day in the life or similar and was backed by Ridley Scott. Maybe you could edit together the best of the best in a longer version of your interviews . Who knows, maybe channel 4 might be interested.
Great suggestion!
Great idea
A Life in the Day was repeated again earlier this year. Ten years after the first time. I took part and uploaded my Life in a Day in China.
the poet! what a nice man...
I absolutely love this channel, and find your work very inspirational. Thankyou
I just want to say that if the streets of London run out of people.... you migrate to birmingham and manchester and liverpool but keep making these videos. Thank you Pablo
What a fantastic episode.. one of the best. Great work!
Thank you!
beautiful job, Pablo! a hug from Uruguay
That's poor man God bless you and think your great and your a traveler with a big heart. You mum and dad will be sorry. your better of alone ❤️🙏
Good poet indeed.
The Quentin Crisp Poet shakes, rattles & rolls.
Thanks for your recordings! Its quite interesting!
These videos are beautiful. Thank you so much for making them!
Hi Pablo,i'am hooked on your channel after one video, great content.
Loved the Poem
I love this collection of film shorts which will certainly be something for the historical archives. A view on society, it wackiness and the pain we so often pass by. In todays voyeuristic world I am surprised it is still only a personal project for Pablo's and has not been scooped up by the mainstream media. Wonderful stuff and superb editing btw
Thank you!
I felt the poem.
Real people being REAL...🤗
All this brings me joy, and curiosity. This seems to be good not only for me, but for the people talking, its nice to be heard sometimes. I sure hope going on the streets of london also brings you joy Pablo and thank you for the videos !
I have a question for you tho, is there anything you learn't about all these streets of London and what most changed you or your life in any way ?
Your amazing 😉 I have been hooked since I saw this a few days ago. As said before your interview style is respectful and at the same time probing, intelligent and eye opening. Well done 👍🏾
You have an amazing ability to get people to open up to you!
besides making amazing videos u are a terrific therapist :)
I've been watching these for hours now. It's so interesting to listen to such interesting people.
Great job buddy. I hope you upload these videos more often
I wish would do a recap about your most interesting guest in each video and see where they are now.
surely that song sums up this channel lol...love it,so true
Finally! A Pablo video!
Another fantastic vlog with awesome and inspiring people. It's so true that when you travel you become a new person
Glad you liked it Paola :)
Nice song in the end!!
The poet was truly amazing
I love this series! What an amazing idea! True pure documentary. I'm sharing this with as many people as I can. keep it up!
Just found your channel. Your content is phenomenal. You deserve way more subscribers! I love this feeling of connection by hearing strangers unique stories. Keep up the great work.
Thank you! Welcome :)
This has become my favourite ❤️ show. I'm seeing myself doing that in coming years.
Loved the poem
Amazing content 👌 My favourite channel.
Wow well there's your theme music for your entire London series 😊
I miss of this sort of video! Thx!
Glad you liked it :)
Wonderful wonderful wonderful. Left me wanting more more more. 👍
This is a great channel.
Don't even need to watch it to know I'll love it !
Nice one Arthur :)
We missed your videos a lot, Pablo. Lovely one, as usual!
Loving your channel man, my current new binge, good luck getting 100k, won’t be long.
3:16 are you interested in photography at all? This is a great moment you’ve captured!
i agree very much
hahah the perfect intro song exists! Also I felt genuinely happy seeing the notification, thanks for the episode.
ngl, those Kowloon bins got me. Might be boring to hear this comment again, but the editing really is great. I like how you seem to have an eye for people with either introspective natures or open ones, and sometimes both.
The poet was incredible. I want a book of his work
Another awesome, feel good video. Keep up the great work!
Thanks!
1:33, that guy sounds like the African guy that accidentally got interviewed on the BBC live on air.
That's me at 8:16 if you can spot me (not playing the flute, wandering through Pablo's shot)
Hmmm. This video did not show up in my subscription feed and neither did I get a notification (as I have the bell clicked for your channel). What's going on there?
Haha I didn’t see that in the edit!😆. That’s strange about the missing notification... I’ll have a look into it.
Would have been cooler if you were the street dancing boy playing the flute.
"very nice"
"you're welcome"
Have I found my spiritual home here at looser central
Love your series of videos, thanks...I can't help but think what if the poets teacher came by and said "I didn't mean for you to end up like this, maybe I should have written marvelous lyric, the world needs ditch diggers and accountants too."
Great episode! Now that we are in december i'd love to maybe see a holidays epiode.
Excellent guitarist wow
Awesome, Fantastic, Brilliant!!!!
great!
love the scene at 3:16...so representative of our world
People really are bloody amazing, whadda world.
Amazing work ! I’m coming to visit London in tow weeks, and I really want to meet that poem guy! Where I can find him ( this is gonna be my first visit to london)?
Terrific and wonderful
I think im in love with your videos. I'm trying to be a photographer.
More! We want more!!!
I think the poet has take his oration skills from Marco Pierre White but is in no way as dim or arrogant. Great channel.
Hi Pablo, are you still shooting your videos with the g80? I really like the colors what picture profile did you use here or the color corrections. I am having a hard time correcting the colors, any help is welcome. Great documentary on the street! Came here from Jamie.
Rickety cricket the poet.
Always interesting and this one was!
Thanks James, glad you liked it 👌🏼
