I hit in to this because of her dress but it was a beautifully dance!!!!!!!!!
THAT is the kind of dancing I call dancing!
this is the softest dance i have ever seen . so good!
This was so beautiful! I want to learn Ballroom SO BAD. I was actually signed up to start taking lessons in April but obviously everything has been shut down...
🤧🥺
That probably would’ve been so much fun!
Hopefully you can start once everything clears up!
I took lessons at Fred Astaire in FL some years ago....that was the last dance I was learning, beautiful but difficult.....love how easy They make it look, lol
Hey dude, were you able to do it :)?
@@vanilla4556 no. I’ve gained a bunch of weight and have become a bit of a depressed recluse since all this happened. After going a long time w/o being able to go places socially, I became very anti social. I was never like this before. Sorry for all the rambling lol.
@@unicornus33 it’s never too late to start ^^ I started taking courses last year and it’s a lot of fun and people are very friendly and welcoming when it comes to newcomers :))
I have a dear friend who took up ballroom dancing as a hobby and is now doing competitions.
She told me the next dance she and her partner were working on was the Vinesse Waltz. I never heard of it, so had to check it out. These two make it look so easy!
WOW! My friend and fer dance partner, have their work cut out for them, but even if they don't win the competition, I pray they do their best and have a great time!
🕺🏾💃🏻
Outstanding performance, the song, her dress was so BEAUTIFUL and the danceing was breath takeing GREAT JOB
The instant I heard this song I wanted to see a couple Viennese waltz to it. This is amazing and more than I dreamed I could fine on UA-cam. Wonderfully done.
Me too
Am I the only one who counts “123 123 123” 😂
American Style (Smooth) Viennese Waltz allows a variety of rhythms, including hesitation steps (1 hold 23) and canter rhythms (1 hold 2 step 3).
I've been like 123 456 the whole time 😂
Today’s regret: Reading this comment before watching the video😂😂
Same here 🤣
I always count my beats like that lol
this is so beautiful, I am so taking lessons for this! what a fantastic pair, wonderfully done!
I love this video, the movement is sooo fluid great for movement studies
Omg this choreography was beautiful!!😱❤️❤️
Thanks! It's one of my favorites. And, they really made it come to life.
UpAndDancing they are so in sync and I wish I kept dance up because this looks like so much fun!
The way they dance! So smooth i love it♥️😊
That was absolutely lovely Viennese Waltz. Well done!

Gorgeous dress. Wonderfully danced!
Woww,it was fantastic to watch it. This couple is so great. 😍😍
I'm so impressed! Your dance is somooth and dreft. So natural.
Beautiful
I have no words
Absolutely love this! Be very proud
Oh Lord! I was looking for a dance performance to this song, Tightrope from The Greatest Showman which has that tiny scene of Mr and Mrs Barnum dance a waltz. And the video started and that's the song! Made my day!
First dance l see where they dance the whole song! Simply lovely!!!!
Yeah Peter!! This was lovely guys!!!! Great job...great transitions as well and flow.
This is absolutely beautiful! You are amazing dancers!
What a wholesome and beautiful performance!
I happened on this by accident. Very well executed by the pair with excellent partnering and very mature. To my eye, the choreo fit the dancers, there was a nice story, the figures matched the music and there were wonderful transitions between elements (I am extremely critical of choreo, including touring professionals). There were a lot of bravura moments. The hairpin turns out of the spot run is something I never considered doing; normally I use those turns into the spot run, so a new idea for me. It was nice to see the follower high left leg wrap (0:58) in V waltz; my wife and I use it in Bolero freestyle; In Bolero and Rumba performances, we follow the leg wrap with a sentada (from Arg tango) and sentada dip followed by various dismounts depending on the music.
Glad you enjoyed it! Peter and Sage do dance beautifully together. They make everything look good. And, as a choreographer, I do like to mix things up!
Such a pretty dress! Nice dancing!
Such an amazing routine. Well done
Love her dress.
Nice work🤗
I honestly started watching this because my name is Sage 🤣 but I love ballroom dancing
Смотрела с удовольствием. Благодарность за несколько удивительных минут.
The woman was so graceful! Shes pretty too.
So beautiful 😍😍
Sooo beautiful ✨😭💐💐💐💐
Stunning
Magnificent performance!!
C'est tout doux, j'adore, il me faut une princesse pour faire ca ;)
i was waiting for the "with youuuuuu" and "mountains and valleys and all that will come between" :(
Very good dance I will to dance it on our wedding too
I love this, not only because one of the dancers shares my name. (I'll let you guess which one) 😆
This dance was just breathetaking! Both of you did a spectacular job!You interpret the song beautifully!Would it be alright if I used your dance as an inspiration for an animation/animatic?I'll credit you for your amazing work!
I'm glad you enjoyed the waltz. I would need to check with the dancers (thanks for asking), but we do not have rights to the song, so if you're planning to include the song, we don't have the right to give you permission for it. Send me an email through my web site if you want to pursue. Thanks!
UpAndDancing Oh please don't go through the trouble to ask them!(I wasn't aware that you didn't cheograph the dance!)As for the song,I can deal with that part.Thank you for responding!
I did the choreography for them. But, I wouldn't want to use their images or the music without the appropriate permission.
UpAndDancing Oh,alright. That's okay.Sorry,i'm confusing myself!Well I don't want to cause trouble so i'll try to figure things out.
Kelly Kho Oh, I have already done the song but I haven't included the dance on case I wasn't allowed but yes I did edit the song and cut near the end of the song.
She should have “fallen” on “fall”!!! Love it though!
Katie Ross we purposefully fell right after “fall” because it worked with the pause and it built up suspense as well. I lifted her up, the lyrics prepared the next part of the stunt, and then she “fell”. Anyway, it worked with the music better that way too.
Супер! Супер! Супер!

and, now the mazurka....
Мне одной показалось, что она в конце чуть не упала?
He's a good partner. In three years of working together, he never dropped her.
Can someone point me to this dress??
Sage got her dress from Light in the Box.
Could you send me music to which you are dancing?
We don't own the rights to this song. It's called Tightrope. If you need to edit it down, Audacity is a shareware program that works great.
@@UpAndDancing Please, this version is needed for dance
@@timurvolovik9418 I can't distribute this song legally, since I don't own the rights to it. If you buy Tightrope by Michelle Williams and download the sound-editing program Audacity, you can cut the song yourself pretty easily. I hope that helps!

Beautiful choreography, what level are they dancing at?
Thank you! We don't really have a 'level'. This was part of a local youth dance competition in Southern Oregon. They were competing in the 'Young Adult' division.
@@UpAndDancing Ahh, ok, They really look like they are performing a 'professionals dance display', (which is a huge compliment) but there were some things I noticed and wasn't sure, so did not want to provide any comment on that assumption as they did not look old enough to be retired from amateurs. But I know nothing of the ranks in US dancing world. So will just say, great style, amazing routines, good use of the floor and travel, footwork looked good but I was a little surprised by their posture for the basic turns in standard hold, is that an American Viennese style?
@@felicitygee381 I believe Peter and Sage were 18 and 16 when they did this and had been ballroom dancing for 3-4 years. Our dance competition is a little unique in that couples go through a compulsory round where they have to dance to a proscribed syllabus (which has more 'fun' moves in it than the typical syllabus). The more advanced students then get to go on and do a solo exhibition number in the dance of their choice. The goal is to build our ballroom community and keep it inspiring, so we include more show elements than would normally be included at that level. If you mean the more distant dance hold, that's a choice we allow couples to make for their personal comfort level. American-style dancers do seem to allow more openness in the hold than International-style dancers, to make room for turns and hold changes.
@@UpAndDancing Thanks for responding in so much detail, and explaining it to me, that is really interesting and will help me interpret other media on dancing from the US. I haven't danced in a long time but I can see it would be a great draw to be able to do those moves. (A little green with jealousy ;-) )Hopefully your community has thrived/ is thriving and Peter and Sage are doing well in their journey. Best wishes.
