Eiji Oue, simply the best! This performance belongs on DVD, or at the very least CD. Eiji has masterfully married the phenomenal individual skills of Osaka's premiere orchestra, extracting a world class performance. I have no choice but to rip this. Eiji, if you're reading this, make it available to us, please!

In my opinion, Eiji Oue is the bes conductor. He has an "I love this music so much" face and he's very enthusiastic, unlike european conductors, who look like they hate to be conducting and think the musicians are awful, not all of them, but generally

@AnAmatureVideo Although I do greatly enjoy this piece and have seen it performed by multiple orchestras, it is strange that this is one of, if not the, most well known pieces of the romantic era when Tchaikovsky himself said it is "very loud and noisy, but [without] artistic merit, because I wrote it without warmth and without love."

@Jinxed44 Well, I don't know about length of pieces (though I do find it difficult to *just* listen to a piece without having something else to do at the same time), but I agree there are too many smug classical music listeners. It's one of the main reasons I stopped listening for such a long time, because I didn't want to be that sort of person. Thankfully I later got into it of my own accord.
I can enjoy other genres of music as well; I just love them in different ways.
