I'm new to watches. Owning a Rolex isn't realistic for me at this point. That being said, Milgauss is the most interesting to me and I think they definitely stand out from other watches.
A decade ago when I bought my Explorer II, I agonized over the choice between the Explorer and the Milgauss. I personally prefer the green crystal, but either version looks great. In the end I went for the Explorer II because I wanted an everyday watch that could handle a sporty lifestyle and kept exceptionally good time, but the Milgauss looks super cool.
I really dislike matt black dials on a modern sports watch. Gotta be gloss black for me. The "Everest first" lmfao! That's Hans Wilsdorf marketing bullshit.

I would take the explorer as well as I like the dial and movement. Thanks so much for watching.

Great video, Erik. Thanks for sharing, too bad it’s been discontinued…for now!
Thanks for watching.
It's a beautiful watch, although with ownership of a Hulk, Pepsi and vintage dj's other brands simply present better value proposition for myself.
I get it. Totally different ball park. Thanks for watching.
About time!! some history on the rolex milgauss
Thanks! Love that watch.

Agree with both. Actually really gloss is nice. Yes, the Rolex Marketing Machine works overtime. Thanks for watching.
Do you need 10000 subscribers and 4000 hours of watch time?
