I have a tip: Brainium basher is almost completely neutralized by shields. So if you pick citron/shogun shard and put your shield up, brainium basher will do a measly 10 damage to you. Happy Tanking!
With Cactus, you can also use that one upgrade (I believe its called Bon Voyage) and just spam Petal Propeller to create a mini land mine. Also, the shield on Shogun Guard can actually tank 1 full charged dash. Also, Garlic Drone. Completely busted and cripples BB's.

Essentially, the biggest issue with the ability is that a lot of players tend to over and underestimate the upgrade. They overestimate in terms of its raw power, and underestimate it in terms of its dynamic potential. If you've ever played smash bros. ultimate against a Ganondorf, you may understand what I mean by overestimation. BBs are indeed known for insta-killing plants in conjunction with the rest of SB's abilities, but compared to the rest of the cast, the ability is by no means broken. Redhead in this video denotes countless counters against BBs that are quite effective. Rather, the two reasons why many new players are caught off guard by the ability is really just because they lack shooter game fundamentals. BB's use fear tactics and the element of surprise to swiftly take out groups of plants. With a calm head and map awareness (both fundamental skills for all shooter games), BBs are actually quite easy to take out. DON'T be afraid of them; just play the game like normal. Now for the underestimation segment. BBs seem pretty straightforward at first, but they can get really complicated at higher levels of play. They can use their bashes, upperecuts, and hyperjump thumps in any order to get in and out of situations, mixing up their attack options with Super Ultra balls and turbo twisters where they see fit - that's A LOT of movement options. A good BB player will definitely switch up tactics to keep players on their toes, and you should have the reaction time and aim to handle those mixups. Smart BBs will also come into engagements with their teammates, cleaning up softened plants as they are distracted on dealing with other zombies. You have to work really well with your team members to effectively win engagements with BBs and push for your objectives. TLDR: BB isn't broken; he just requires a lot of experience and awareness to deal with. Every character has powerful tools to handle BB in their own right.

snapdragon's swoop slam is good to dodge when they bash or when they use turbo twister because they can't run away whith turbo twister and dodging them can help you go to a safer place whith the slam
As night cap if you equip the upgrade where you warp when using shadow sneak you can escape and immobilisation abilities including turbo spin or gravity grenade, quite cool.
It belongs to garden ware fare canon but it’s not a Gw3 it’s own game with unquie idea where you make your own character play style using what your provided with.
This is my issue with BB. People make it out to be this godly entity of unlimited power, but forget the shear number of counters it has. If I'm being honest, the worst part of BB isn't the dash or the uppercut, its thd abilities. If you ever try to fight someone with JUST those two moves, its really difficult. In my opinion, most of BB is relying on abilities to set up for a dash or uppercut. Most of the time I die to a BB is usually an ability. Honestly, reg SB is more of a threat than BB.

I would also like to make a suggestion. Although very unlikely/ unreliable sunflower can become very difficult to attack via the upgrades for sunny side up: shove and quick egress. Paired with any speed increases ie speedy this can make you very hard to target and shove can completely throw off a turbo twister
A amazing strategy with citron is to wait for the branium to dash at you, put up your shield, and since they are now right next to you and cannot dash away hit them at point blank and shred them with your primary (you also get the muzzle flash damage bonus!)
Who misses in PVZ GW both 1 and 2 where all characters had counters in their base kit to deal with almost any threat. Now you have design your entire upgrades just to deal with super brains.
