Yeah. Love the track. Hoping they take a few more chances on the album but if they do it would make sense that they release a more straightforward single.
Love this song. Really enjoyed your reactions too. The band are sounding great!! Enjoying Gillan's vocals and the solos are excellent. Paice and Glover really swinging here. ❤️
Nice chat. New song sounds pretty good, my favourite bit is the rhythm part under Don's solo, great riff and so tight. Album seems a bit far away, but assume there will be another song or two released beforehand.
Great impromptu show! Pretty much tallies with my own view. It's energetic and polished, in the broad vein of any of the Ezrin-era material and could be a "Whoosh" or "Now What?" track, which is not a bad thing, but not a revolution or "left-turn" as Rich describes it. At this stage, they're probably driven by building a solid late-stage body of work vs experimenting. Let's wait for the album, look forward to July!
Great song, love the riff the organ and guitar interplay and Ian sounds great. This sounds similar to Whoosh in terms of material but with the live energy and vine of Now What? I'm looking forward to this album and seeing them live again soon
I think he's intentionally staying in the pocket on this track because organ bass and guitar are all very forward on this song. Sometimes you have to create space...

Love WHOOSH!...this song
has Deep Purple on track.
Amazing song....🤟🏻🤟🏻
this will be the album of the year!
100% for us!!!
definitely
It’s a great song. People expect something different from them but what else can they do? 56 years they already did it all.
You can never get enough of a geat thing. I love it.
I too was almost hoping for a left-turn, but after listening I still really enjoy this and I'm not disappointed

For sure! They’re sounding great together. Really looking forward to what other tracks they come up with with Simon!
Since Abandon they've been releasing banger after banger album

12:17 the track listing shows short song length. So, that is different.

I have to take back what I said about the drums. It must have been the Zoom feed. They are very well mixed here.
Yes. Zoom has that effect on things. Sounds great!
@@TheDeepPurplePodcast I’m so used to listening that way, I sometimes forget it dies that.
Great song, I just find Ian's drums a little weak though...

The guy who helped ruin the Aerosmith podcast 😮
