my mock is unfortunately tomorrow morning and this block is included in my exam so I've been watching your old waves chapter and I can't describe how much it helped and made everything easier, thank you so much !
Thank you so much for this video, you have no idea how much it helped. I have one question though, are we supposed to memorize the wavelegth and frequency for every type of electromagnetic radiation, or just memorize their order?
Hi sir, I really want to thank you for all your videos on summarizing the Cambridge IGCSE Physics chapter. Thanks to you, I was really able to understand all the different concepts I struggled with. I used to hate Physics just because of how difficult it is but you and my current physics teacher have helped to understand and love physics. I am an extended student, and I had no idea about the addition of digital and analogue waves to the Waves chapter. Thank you for shedding some light on this subject.
Yooo let's go I've been struggling badly with waves, not the theoretical part where we have to just memorise and understand stuff, but the drawing part, I'm struggling with how to place the protractors on the normals, so can you represent these protractors as semi circles on the normals with different coloured lines?
my physics mock is at 7 am and its currently 2 am, you're life saving, ive literally been using your account since last year because i didn't understand physics at all

Basically, a normal is a line perpendicular, or starts at the point in which the incident ray HITS the area, in the phenomenon of refraction. Then, the ray changes its speed since its going towards a denser medium, and the change in speed also results in change in direction. Since its goes into a denser medium, it goes towards the normal; and when the ray fully aligns itself with the normal, a 'normal incidence' phenomenon occurs, which we havent read yet lol. SO, when its out of the medium, it goes back to its default state. And so since it is in its default state, it does not need to go on the way to the normal; and that results in going against / away from the normal and back to its pace. Hope this makes sense! :)

No there’s just more pressure, basically if you take water from a deep pool and bring it out, it will still be same density. This is because density is =mass over volume :) and all materials /substances have only 1 density so water density is a constant
its 3am, my exam is day after and im trying to learn the entire syllabus by today. Wish me luck.
