t40 torx and 1/2" socket or wrench , heat bolt has red locktite

Thanks for taking the time to show and tell us about this process. I didnt know abot the 93 hinge bushing change and the red lock tite from the factory. They went overboard with the seem sealer in the eary days. I bet there was blow back from shops and people trying to change the hinge to the polished stainless steel units that where so popular back in the day.

I think that all it seam sealer was them trying to stop water leaks that people complained about
