When you polish mica it makes such a crazy mess. 😂Turnes everything around black, including everything that it splashes on. It was very hilarious. I had gray black hands for awhile.
I knew Jack well in the ‘70’s to early 80’s. We dug bottles on several occasions. I visited your house a couple of times in Fort Union and my wife’s grandmother lived at the end of the lane you lived on. He had a digging buddy, Charles Murie, and they were inseparable until they had a falling out. What did your father die from? I lost track of him since then and I miss his know how and friendship. Thanks for responding.
And my dad died a year to the date that my mom died… my mom died in 2009 of cancer and my dad 2010 of natural causes… a week before he passed I went over to the house and he said he saw my mom at the foot of thier bed..and she was beautiful but he reached out and she vanished. Come to find out when my dad died it was their 50 anniversary ❤️
That’s a wonderful story. Your dad was a prolific digger and it seems that he was out digging every weekend. He had some great bottles but he worked hard to get them. The only one of you kids that I remember is Bart. I am guessing that from the terrain you are hunting for rocks is down in the St. George area. My wife and I are avid rockhounds and love to get out whenever we can. Judging by the hikes you do you are as tough as your dad.👍
Wonderful scenary, besides the beautiful Stones. Cute Video
Part of the adventure is the journey 😍
