tapp in the american west
United States
Приєднався 8 лис 2021
I'm out to bring the American west to everyone that can't explore and they can do it with me. we will hike and explore the wild west finding fossils, crystals, cool rocks, old ghost towns, treasures, both historical and prehistoric all encased in a backdrop of the beauty of the old American west. We will find but leave behind many native American artifacts arrowhead pottery fragments photographing them and leaving them for future generations. We will explore mine caves as we find them too.. climb mountains and cross deserts and canyons seeing petroglyphs of ancient people long before the cowboys. Basically i want to take you with me and escape your huge city's where you live and give you a escape to wild open land with blue sky's and fresh air and peace and quiet areas.

25:35 the green rock looks like Brochanite a mineral
24:55 that’s Red Jasper
20:56 I believe that the yellow and green rock is Olive opal. Do I get a sample 2# piece of it if I am right. LOL.
I’ve never understood people just smashing the rocks. To me they are worthless after that. Glass buttes was the worst thing I’ve ever seen in my life. I look for pieces big enough to slab so that is my gripe
Im from Utah, where abouts is this?
Do you find these sites on your own or do you get tips from other rockhounds?
So you live in St George. Nice I’m in Kanab.
Lots of mines in this area plenty of stuff
Great video!
So lucky!!! You'd need a tow truck to pull me up outta there!! Lol
Oh man did you hit the jackpot! Love that green botryoidal chalcedony! 💚 Some outstandimg specimens 🎉
Oh wow thats a great point! Good job hiding it again. What a day! Looks like awesome place to rockhound
Man thats a big jasper outcrop! So amazing to see. Great multi color pieces! I love exploring the mountains for minerals 🎉
Awesome, colorful rocks! Enjoy your finds, you earned 'em! 👍👊
Absolutely amazing finds! Just beautiful!
Just noticed your name.. I went to Jr high school with a Steve Milholand back in around 1974-75 in Alabama. Good friend then but his Dad was Air Force & they moved to Texas i think(waaay b4 internet!). Never met another! Be blessed!
@@coffeehunter8742 my husbands family all live in NC . But he does have a brother named Stevie. But my Father inlaw was never in the Air Force. Maybe they are related somehow. We live in NC....Blessing to you too .
Gosh, do you even read your comments
@@daniellebellat4055 sometimes 🤣🤣🤣
Where is this place
Is it jasper? Or what? So pretty! Just curious what kind of stone it is.
Jasper it all over this area
Nice specimens..as a rock hound who has humped and schlepped many large examples out..sometimes making multiple trips..I feel I'd have to employ a pack donkey if I were to visit such a site as this 😁
@@piratepete842 especially now as it’s about 100 degrees 🤨
Petrified wood?
@@TreeLynnT this isn’t.. I know the kind you’re talking about.. this is jasper
No way man , there are some amazing pockets of pure heaven on this planet of ours, makes you wonder just what happens there to cause such a beutifull act of nature, bet you find some supper rocks out your way , good digging happy picking ⚒️
I’m looking forward to fall cooler weather ❤️
Man alive what an absolute honey hole!! That material is awesome! I love it all but particularly love the red and yellow combos. You’re a lucky man!
There’s tons of reds and yellows everywhere
Where were you hounding for this outing? If you wouldn't mind telling me at least the general area

@@tappintheamericanwest2781beautiful colors in these rocks, man! I'm not on fb but like your channel. We don't have those vibrant colors in my area of Alabama. Thanks for sharing
Holy crap! That one with the "regmaglypts" on the outside & crystals on the inside... 🤯 Another great day of rock hunting in Utah.
Wow what a beautiful place! There's so many colorful rocks there.
Protective eyewear would be wise
Not a future Arrowhead..it's a scraper
That multicolored stone is so beautiful! Id love to have a piece of that for my collection.
Wow, i wanna rock hound with you. Such beautiful rocks !!
I Love that you like patterned rocks! I too like and collect random colored/patterned rocks. They're natures artwork! Keep up the cool videos. I really enjoy looking at all the multi- patterned and colored rocks that you find! 😊
Just found your channel! Great videos!
You find such great stuff!
@@karencole1623 thank you 😊
I really wanna rind some of this!
I would sure love to know where to find these! They are great!
I love the green!
So Beautiful!
Thank you! 😊
Absolutely amazing finds! I would be overcome with joy to find a small amount of these beauties, much less the amount you are showing. It’s truly wild! What area of this state would you recommend a person attempt to even begin to look for something worth collecting? I might get lucky one day and take a road trip west and bring my brand new Christmas gift, a rock tool like yours laying in the dirt in this video, with me to do some rock hounding.
Be mindful of the sound when making videos, without good sound it doesn't make a quality video, at times you could barely be heard, there's a mic you can clip on your shirt right under your chin that will sound great and clear, we want to be able to hear all your words, the sound is very important, Thank you for this wonderful adventure✨🍀✨💖
@@renitawoods8121 do they work with iPhones? Send me a link or model I will add it to my things for sure🙂
Nothing wrong with the quality. This is excellent magnificent and marvelous!! This is my deepest desire right here with the Dremel kit. Long live Picasso!

Hello, I present to you a device for the first time in the world that works using frequency technology and searches for 1,900 gemstones and 4,000 types of minerals. He searches for a person under the rubble and searches for diseases in the human body. He looks for kidney stones and looks for dollars, euros and all paper currencies. The depth is 40 meters and the area is 1 square kilometre. There is a frequency cutting device with an area of 7 square kilometers that cuts all types of frequencies and has countless properties. He is alone in the world.
Wow that is some nice looking stuff… are you in Northern California?
Nope in Utah and some videos in Nevada too… those are the states I generally rockhound in🙂
@@tappintheamericanwest2781 where is this?
I will definitely be watching more if you continue to show amazing, gorgeous rocks as these!👍🇺🇸
@@user-pd2gu6li2n I’m trying to show tons of different types of rocks if ya look at all my videos.. but this one seems to have caught fire.. the most comments on my Facebook page and they keep coming..❤️🙂
Any chance you can box me some up and post to uk I’ll pay 👌👍🙏🤞
Thumbnail isn't a lie!
Nope… it’s some sort of jasper and another mineral… I’ve only found one tiny spot.. ❤️
That is some good looking stuff you wouldn't be so inclined as to reveal your location would you?
Sadly no as I’ve seen areas get overwhelmed and loved to death😢
Beautiful rocks what a fine just gorgeous I would love to rock hound there
Do you know what type of mineral that is? It looks like a multicolored type of chalcedony/something in betweenchalcedony and colorful jasper to me, which is pretty interesting! It partly almost reminds me of chrysoprase, which is actually pretty valuable!
Jasper is all over the area and agates too.
@@tappintheamericanwest2781 Is this fluorite? Just very confused on what this mineral or rock is? I do know they’re very beautiful.
@@SissyMchill1 in this video is Jasper and agates and chalcedony and quartz 🙂
