Idk if anyone caught on this but the invisible hand is supposed to be a reference to Adam Smith. He describes the markets as having "an invisible hand" which push markets in the right direction
It's not mysticism, the idea is that it's an emergent property of the sum of individuals acting in the markets.

You're probably looking for Lounge music. It shows up a lot on Muzak and shopping center records and tapes, so it's the perfect soundtrack for corporate America. There's also some tracks like the one with the driving funk clavinet part that are more reminiscent of early funk.
