I love your work. Not always my taste but that is what a Defender is, you can make it as you like and enjoy it. There is so much you can do to customise your Defender and that is what I like, no Defender is the same.
Castor correction radius and trailer arms would be a good idea, and prop spacer, rool bar extension and larger bump stops. Dont forget to adjust your 'lock to lock' hub bolts, otherwise you'll reck your tyres on the radius arms
Very sharp. The wheels and tires are great, and the arches look good. You’ve saved a vehicle from going to the junk yard, and built it into a very capable utility vehicle that you can drive daily. Love it
Loving the look of this Defender and can’t wait to see it progress further. Plus the new workshop is looking awesome, much better space and lighting for filming videos too. Keep up the good work.
I’m loving your new workshop, it’s so much brighter & we can see much more detail, I was nearly going to ask if you’d got a new camera, the wheels, lift & those wide tyres make the landy look way more aggressive, I can’t wait to see all the front end upgrades you’ve got planned, great work again 👍
Looks fantastic mate. I fitted exactly the same tyres with Mach 5 wheels to my dcpu this weekend. I went for the spectre spats but with standard suspension at the front and -2 at the back. Fantastic job on this 90.
Absolutely fantastic videos. Love the look of the truck and always look forward to the next one. Keep it up! Mines going in for a 2" lift imminently and also deep dish modulars 🤙
Feels like weeks since your last video!! Thank God it's here!! Could you blacken the wheel weights, think that would top those wheels off beautifully!!
Loving this build! Would love to own a defender. My Grandad owns a defender 90 that be bought from Severn Trent before he retired from them and it's still running strong. He's also got a 1992 3 door Disco that is going strong too. The other day he told me he needs to sort the rear sliding windows as they are rattling around just like on this 90. Told him I'd show him the video when you get round to sorting 😉
Hi Sam, I can see where this is going and I think a good mod that will benefit this build will be fitting the "Mud Shields" from Gwynlewis4x4 , and I'd like to see what they look like 🤔 I've decided to go with standard lift with Fox shocks, Eibach springs and tubular turrets. Getting there and I'm going for Buzzweld as well.
G'Day. I only have 3 things to say. 1) Please look after your back. I didn't and was medically discharged from the army with a prolapsed disk by doing something similar, lifting to heavy an Item up off the ground and on to a Unimog tray. Lower the lift to an easier position to put the wheels on yeah. 2)WOW, mate, the workshop...AMAZING. You now have plenty of room and builds should be really enjoyable now. 3)Britparts........yeah nar... the less said about them the better. Mate you will soon learn that one is best served by staying well away from Britparts as much as humanly possible. Very few and far between are the "parts" fit for service from Britpart, more so with any part having a rubber component too it. Other than that, looking good. Thanks
Hey 👋 thanks for the thoughts and comments 😁 as a Defender specialist, there are many items from Birtpart that get a bad wrap, and for good reason. I know what parts are unusable and what parts are good to use, personally I’ve never experienced bad reviews from their suspension but have when using Terrafirma etc. The workshop is much bigger now!! So you should see some very cool cars start to roll off the production line 😁 notes about my back, I’ll make sure to take care 🙏🏻 Best
Looks Awesome mate. At the end of the build, could you do a video summarising the prices of all the parts/accessories/services and where you got that from? Would be amazing.
Great progress on the build . What are you ding about the gap between the inner front arch and the wheel arch ? It'll fill up with mud , road dirt and water thrown up by the tyres and will cause premature rot , which we know these vehicles suffer with .
Have you checked the full articulation when on full lock? When the back passage side wheel is fully articulated, full lock to right, does the front driver's side touch the bodywork? Will you need to change the speed drive? Looks Good.
It's all personal opinion, especially with the comments here.. But the hard work can't be faulted.. I did my apprenticeship at Porsche many years ago, then main dealers, then 2 garages myself.. Great work. Great video.
Love the super gaz look, but does them handle good? Wonder which kind of wheel are those…wolf? Thanks, beautiful build as usual. Keep going with this incredible works.
I suggest the wheels be balanced using the stick-on weights inside the rim. They look much better and are a lot less likely to be dislodged during off-roading. They can also be painted to match the wheels.
The build looks great, keep it going. Also for future videos can you list the part links so if someone needs to look at them or buy them it's much easier?
Looking nice. What are you using to fill in the gap left behind inside the wing from when you took the old arches off ?? Like the shocks n springs and bumper looks grand 👍
Brilliant. Great content on UA-cam and fantastic Instagram content also. Question, I'm changing my tyres and wondering what size are these etc. They suit the look I'm going for and will give me the added lift for my diff
Another great video and content, keep up the good work! A tip: now that the workshop is bigger and it has echo, it’s hard to understand what you are saying when you are away from camera. You should consider getting a microfone 👍🏻
Workshop looks full already ha ha. If I had a hoist I'd certainly lower it to fit the tyres as I know how heavy those are you need to look after your back.
Think I’ll adopt a different tactic next time 😅 I’ve lowered the lift before but I find my back is at more risk as I’m bent over trying to lift etc. Think I’ll grab another person to assist
Hi Sam, great job on the Defender. That's the look I'm going for on mine but I have fitted 18" wheels. I want to fit 2" lift but I was under the impression the radius arms needed changing, that's obviously not the case or is that coming later ? Glad you colour coded the arches, look good 👍
@@juicemotors Yeah, I agree. I think it's the body-colour of the arches which looks odd to me. I've got a 90 in exactly the same colour - is it Epsom green? ...and it does have matching arches - I think that was standard on the county models? Anyway, with big boots I think I just prefer the look of contrasting black arches. It's all a matter of taste. Loving the yellow shocks and springs though. :)

Using a bottle neck jack on axle will help open up room to remove & install springs 😊
No end on the spend...excellent series thanks Juice Motors.
Loving the new workshop! Great space and light. Fantastic looking arches and wheels would love to own it!
Looks fantastic. The workshop looking fabulous as well. Loads of room. 👏👍
You have so much passion for what you do... so nice to see....
This Landie looks cooler and cooler and cooler with each video. A superb job
Your new workshop is looking great. Congratulations 👍👍👍
I think it looks amazing, can't wait for the next episode.
This is actually amazing. Was going to buy a Standard Defender a few months ago but looking at this series, it's a wonderful project to commit to.
Loving the look of this Defender and can’t wait to see it progress further. Plus the new workshop is looking awesome, much better space and lighting for filming videos too. Keep up the good work.
So much more enjoyable to work in too! Thanks for your comments!
Congrats on the new work shop! Nice space!!
The defender is coming along class mate!!
Another episode and gone again so quickly ! Love the weekly updates and my how this formerly unloved D90 improves each week

She’s looking a beast already. Videos just keep getting better ⚡️Thanks Sam.
I would like to see all the underside cleaned derusted and painted before all the cosmetics added.

All those toys 😍 Loving the series 1 and 110 , hoping you are going to build them someday
Time to upgrade the brakes too. Nice build.
Absolutely fantastic videos. Love the look of the truck and always look forward to the next one. Keep it up! Mines going in for a 2" lift imminently and also deep dish modulars 🤙
New shops looking good 👍👍
Feels like weeks since your last video!!
Thank God it's here!!
Could you blacken the wheel weights, think that would top those wheels off beautifully!!
Absolutely brilliant job you have done on that Land Rover not too high hi absolutely superb how much would you want for that motor
New work shop look well cool 😎 👌 can't wait for the amazing builds out of there 😉👍

Love this video. Cant wait to see the final !
Golden doggo!! liked and subscribed! awesome landy build too :)

New workshop looks immense !!
The defender is looking sick love the mods, it’s going to look a beast when it’s finished. Great work keep it up 👍
Mate I loved it, just confirmed that I will get an old defender and make it up like yours..👏💪
That looks so cool I love the aggressive stance!
I don’t normally like big wheels and a lift, but damn that looks good.
Such a nice setup, the workshop is so clean and bright unlike mine 😂 love the defender starting to take shape now
Hi Sam, I can see where this is going and I think a good mod that will benefit this build will be fitting the "Mud Shields" from Gwynlewis4x4 , and I'd like to see what they look like 🤔

I had shitpart 2inch lift. First MOT after fitting the MOT man failed it as one rear spring had a bow in. Old man Emu or standard springs since.

It's coming together just superb
LOOKS AMAZING!!!
This is savage. Looks amazing. Making me want a td5 now.
As an expat living in Melbourne, thanks for the vids.
I am no expert, but you might want to look into a wireless microphone. Cheers.
Oh yes please let him do that!
Understood & ordered
Was literally going to say the same , hes sorted the music audio already but now i find im turning it up when he's at a distance
Mud Panther #MeToo
definitely
Never wanted a land rover more great content as always 🚙🚙🚙
Great video, would love to see some on the series land rovers too. Do you sell these land rovers when you’ve finished them?
Awesome looking project. Can you please confirm what make and model the front bumper is.
Loving the content.
Cheers.
looking good mate - if you re going to off road it might be worth getting some sort of clear wrap to protect the paint
Great progress on the build . What are you ding about the gap between the inner front arch and the wheel arch ? It'll fill up with mud , road dirt and water thrown up by the tyres and will cause premature rot , which we know these vehicles suffer with .
Factory shaved arches to have the liners
Pubs have re-opened and theres a new video .... YES!
please link where you bought the arches and hood will be super helpfull if you link where you buy the parts you install
Great content as usual, the tires look pretty dang cool.
I bought 5x those wheels and tyres the kms
painted the lettering white looks great
Wich wheels did you buy? I cant find them in the Internet.
Have you checked the full articulation when on full lock? When the back passage side wheel is fully articulated, full lock to right, does the front driver's side touch the bodywork? Will you need to change the speed drive? Looks Good.

Thanks Mark! I appreciate your open mind, it’d be a boring world if all of us hD the same opinions! Thanks for your support! 💛
Wich wheels are those? Ich cant find them, but they look great!
I love to watch this rebuild! Looks great !
Going for a Bowler Tomcat kind of look with those wheels & arches !
Love the super gaz look, but does them handle good? Wonder which kind of wheel are those…wolf? Thanks, beautiful build as usual. Keep going with this incredible works.
the new workshop is epic!!🛠💪 whats the story with the series one 80”, any plans for it🤔
The 80" will probably get the full Kahn body kit treatment, air ride, a candy flip flop paintjob and the obligatory tow bar delete.
I suggest the wheels be balanced using the stick-on weights inside the rim. They look much better and are a lot less likely to be dislodged during off-roading. They can also be painted to match the wheels.
The build looks great, keep it going.

Solid content 👌 , new sub from South Africa
Sweet ride man
Nice beast🤙😎 what about caster correction bushes in the front, or maybe have put them in already.. Cheers from Landcruiser and Patrol owner😀
Yep, looks better all the time 👍
hi congratulations excellent work I wanted to know what size the mudguards are and what brand?
Hi putting bigger wheels and tyres on, will you have to change the speedo. The new workshop looks great don't get it too dirty.
Great work loving the new wheels 👌
Just stumbled across this channel. Sweet! Now got massive back catalogue of fantastic videos to watch. 😄
Looking nice. What are you using to fill in the gap left behind inside the wing from when you took the old arches off ?? Like the shocks n springs and bumper looks grand 👍

Ordered 💪🏻😎
Nice job
Do you sell the land rovers on after or keep it??
By the sounds of things a lot are “client” cars, not sure whether he’s part of a father an son business (in LR repairs) but specialising in defenders
I think it may actually float with those tyres fitted 😀
Very Nice Job!!!!
I’m surprised it’ll run a 35” tire without needing to regear anything. What the factory gearing on those anyways? Now I’m curious haha
No offence, I liked the original wheels, the beauty of a LR is when it looks original and classic in my opinion.
No offence taken, I also liked the original wheels... But also I prefer the new wheels
New wheels are killer! Can always revert to original if you want so no harm done... just awesomeness 👌🏻
@Juice Motors what brand are these wheel arches......btw NICE JOB MATE
I'd like to know that too| Best arches I saw around so far...wondering if they look good on a 110 with Tibus portals
Left handers 😅have an extra brain 😂.Good work mate
Does the bigger tyres affect the speedo readings .....???? Great channelThumbs up from Australia
They do but satnav keeps a check on things.got 33s on mine and reading is about 7mph out.
I get so exited when I see new videos loll
Hi Sam, great job on the Defender. That's the look I'm going for on mine but I have fitted 18" wheels.
I want to fit 2" lift but I was under the impression the radius arms needed changing, that's obviously not the case or is that coming later ?
Glad you colour coded the arches, look good 👍
Hey Ed! No need to change the radius arms for 2” lift, the angle isn’t too different from stock.
Yep - body coloured arches do it for me.
I'm not a fan of those arches to be honest and I think the wheels are a little big with too much offset for a daily driver. At least for my tastes.
Martyntd5 no problem Martyn! I think it looks great! The world would be boring if we all had the same opinions 😁 thanks for watching! 🤙🏻
@@juicemotors Yeah, I agree. I think it's the body-colour of the arches which looks odd to me. @@juicemotors I would have chose a 16x8 -25mm wheel 😏😋😉
U ar great men nice work
Hello, great job! To have an idea, how much cost this full suspension kit and wheels?
Thanks in advance
When you put the big tyres on did you think to lower the hoist to reduce the manual lift?
I was there, screaming at the tv I watch youtube on, "you know that hoist has got a down button???"
