FINALLY someone who really explains things clearly!! I watched 10 other videos, all of them talk about how to align the speakers and send spaceships to Mars, but not how to connect an input and get an output 🤣 LUCKILY we have you here, thanks!!
This Video is saving my a** right now, I have to run a festival on a Pro2c next weekend and the very first time I will see this console in real life will be 30min before the first soundcheck! Thanks for making this video!
Fantastic! Thank you so much for this. I've been thrown at these a couple of times and it was quite rough! You are an excellent teacher. Midas should pay you. Cheers!
Great Video, have to do monitors next weekend on main stage. Very helpful. If you ever feeling like doing a video on routing and patching internally with the Pro 2, I’d love to watch it. ❤
i know im very late, its because i am getting a Pro2c myself, Little correction did some research and it is how i thought it was VCA are (Virtual Controlled Amplifiers) other consoles like M32 and X32 refer to them as DCA (Digitaly Controlled amplifiers) same thing. Soundcraft calls em VCAs as well for referance, Basicly everything you put into a VCA, when u click it it pops out, but the corresponding farder is your overall volume for all of the channels in that VCA, say you have a full drumset, say 12 channels, if you want to lover or raise the whole drumeset instead of taking all 12 faders and moving em you can just move that one fader and it will increase or decrease the whole drum "mix". Just something i wanted to mention lol, i saw you kinda got onto it when you talked about MCA's but thought id just mention it anyways to make it more clear
Pretty much, but they can be bigger than '1 layer' in that you can put as many channels in them as you want, then use the channel scroll arrows to navigate to the rest of the channels
Dude 2 years later and this is the most comprehensive video on the midas pro 2. You are a legend
WORD!!! So many videos (of other people) just SUCK!!
I’ve never used a Pro2 and this is a life saver, thank you 🙏 2023

I got roped into training a church on using this board later this afternoon. I've never touched one in my life. Thank you.

I appreciate for you make this video!🙏🏼
Really helpful to me🙌🏼
Great video!
So the "Pop groups" is just like "Custom fader layers"?
Pop groups are any channel grouped on a layer with no audio change ramifications
Pretty much, but they can be bigger than '1 layer' in that you can put as many channels in them as you want, then use the channel scroll arrows to navigate to the rest of the channels
Waffle waffle waffle lol no seriously thanks dude, very easy to watch and fairly comprehensive overview! Will help me a lot ;)
If you want waffle, you've come to the right channel my friend!
Youhit the buttons so hard I'm surprised they still work!
They Dont!
@@TheodoreMiller Ha !! thats funny!
Very nice video, one minor thing tho, would you mind not using a fish eye the next time it makes things lokk slightly odd and a bit difficult to see
Thanks for the tip
Thanks very useful. I bought a Used Pro 1
Question, how many GB for a usb stick it needs for a firmware update?
I did an update today. The firmware file was about 500Mb. It prompts you to back up all the show files too so you would want a few gig to be safe.
i love you
Thank you
Also you mentioned a talkback switch? 😮
Mic with on/off switch he meant
The best part is the abuse by sharpie involved in the making of this.
Midas should pay you. Cheers!
Amen to that brother
Hey man, which better.. This pro2c or heritage? For sound quality.
Nothing beats a H3000!
@@TheodoreMiller XL4 ;-)
Jesus take it easy on the buttons. Poor little guy.
I like the part in the video when you f#&ing smashed the buttons an absurd number of times.
So all of it?
Why doesn't the appearance & coloring look nice for me😅
good lesson ,,buttons break cause your hevy handed,,
Shit breaks, get over it
simple as
Tu pourrais éviter de taper comme une brute sur les boutons, si tu veux qu'ils durent longtemps...
Oh sorry mate ill think of you the next time i lightly caress them
Use this when I have to use this stupid console every 8 months
