RTE's greatest stroke of comedic genius was getting Brian Kerr to do commentary for a dead rubber group stage game at 2014 world cup....between Japan and Greece....he never stood a chance with those names but he gave it welly for about 20mins before he went "ah shur fook it in anyway" and started saying things like nuuuumoor 7 and yer man over derr with the bleedin sooideboorns
