The combat at the end of the caves was NUTS. But Illtauga's conclusion was the best part for me. In therms of action, the sequence was OK, but the fact that she attacks in between the music beats make the score pretty significant and the ending of her story and emotion investment was just 10/10 for me. I was expecting the same deliverance on the second giant, and I think they had all the narrative elements to pull it off, but they didn't. [SPOILER] We knew who the giant was, we received plenty of hints from his background, but in the end it was just kinda generic. Ástríðr should've played a bigger part in demising the giant, she should've to sacrifice herself and forgive him in order for him to be defeated. That would've been an excelent conclusion. The game kinda hints on something, but never goes full throtle on it, but they should've been lovers and her husband got her father killed. Only when she forgave him, he should've been able to die. But the ending was pretty cool though. Fighting the underpowered Goði at the end felt amazing.
Thank you so much for uploading this, I heard it in-game, there was only so many other noises going on so couldn't fully hear it. Did however hear part of what comes after 1:08 come through and knew it was awesome. Hearing it separate from the game audio now, I would argue it's the best song in the game.
I think some of that boils down to there rarely being consistent music while walking around. It's generally pretty quiet except for the voices. Music is only there when it needs to be there

When you finally nail the combat and Senua becomes a badass.
This was the best part of the game..along with the caves that actually that grew on me. But this was what I wanted the whole game to be like.
