The 990 Pro is not the best drive for the PS5. Its firmware is more for PC, because there are special power saving settings. On the contrary, the SN850P should not be taken for PC, even if we are talking about games. There are tests where it gives strange results, and the firmware for it is unlikely to be updated.

Samsung 9 series Pro all the way!, the only Nvme drive that can take the heat it produces
Samsung is top but there is slight advantage of being a official licensed sony ssd.
