Happy mid week my lovely fashion lovers!🥰
I am very excited to share with you tutorial of sewing my 18th century robe a la Francaise. Spent over 12 meters of fabric. - Навчання та стиль
Can you imagine the work that went into these gowns back in the 18th century?????? Hand stitching and making all the lace and everything!!!! No wonder the rich were the only ones who could afford that.
It's a lot of work for this lady here... But just imagine then! 😱
They didn't made it all by hand they already had stitching machines back then. Just older versions
@@wioi 18th century is the 1700s. The first sewing machine wasn't invented until 1829. And it wasn't popular and put into mass production until the 1850s.
So, no, they hand sewed these gowns.
I wish I had an attention span to create something as wonderful as this. The menopause has a lot to answer for. 😆
It’s gorgeous 😍 you’re so talented!
Oh.dear.lord. TEACH US HOW!!!!
If I was a Rich Dutchess back then, I'd buy her dresses. They are sooo beautiful

Wow this gown is absolute perfection 😍 you are so so very talented💗 thanks so much for sharing more steps and video on how you created this gown , I would love to see more videos like this and also would love to see more instructions on how you make all of the ruffles and bows and flower adornments 🙂 thank you so much for sharing with all of us and also inspiring with your lovely gowns😍 also do you crochet? Do you have any crochet items from that era ? I'm just wondering cause I crochet and I love the antique old crochet they used to do back then everything was so dainty and just lovely especially the crochet and tatting adornments they added to their gowns. Thanks again for sharing love all of your videos 💗 Ciara

You are good!
Jesteś taka piękna 😊💓.
😘
Good luck
💓💓💋👍
Do you sell them as costumes?
How much would you sell one of those for? I bought a pattern to make one myself but I now realize it’s too complex and the instructions are too vague. 😕
