So I'm sitting here in a snow storm with negative degree Temps and what pops up on my yt feed? You in a bathing suit on a beach nice and warm... can you say jealousy? LOL
Everyone is leaving salinas. Lots of houses for sale, furnished with dropping prices. Rentals are very abundant right now cause crime is very bad. Just last week in another area, a woman was shot. Ecuador is #1 in un safe Latin American countries.
Water is not drinkable
What I love about Amelia & JP is that they are regular folks, not snobby. What is best is that you don’t need a lot of money to live this life! It’s calling me!!
SEA LIONS ARE LOVING ANIMALS they do not hurt people. SEALS AND SEA LIONS are known as the DOGS of the water. Wonderful
I’m so happy that you visited my hometown! 😊😊 If you’re still here, maybe you might want to visit La Libertad and do a comparison video to Salinas
Wow! The last time I was in Salinas was in the 60s. In that time it never rained at all, so there was no water. All the water had to be trucked in by fleets of tanker trucks. Of course, that meant that there were no bugs, which was nice. There was a beach near there called Mar Bravo. It was said that after a big storm one could find gold coins on the beach because there was a sunken Spanish galleon offshore. Nobody could dive to the wreck because the water was too turbulent. It was much much less developed, but it was still a vacation spot.
You should come to the Pacific cost of Costa Rica, then you tell me what you like the most? Cheers from America's Paradise
Went to Salinas about 20 years ago in July during its off-season. It was very tranquilo and a bit cloudy. I went back another year in February around Carnaval. Wow, what a difference. It was sunny, hot, plenty of people out, and lots of energy. good times!
Salinas is the best beach. I miss you my dear Salinas. I will be back my love.
We love Salinas. We stayed in the Phoenix building. The best New Years party we ever experienced was on the beach in Salinas. We are coming back.
Salinas was a quiet little town up to the late nineties. I had a house about to blocks away from the beach just behind where the Pinguinos sold their ice cream. Now is over crowded and all those buildings on the board walk and not enough beach. As we live in the States now the only thing I miss is the plaza where you get all those restaurants with seafood close by .🍸🍸
Excellent video with lots packed in, so thank you for the perspective.
Very informative. Thanks for sharing details and insights about Salinas.
Memories of spending summers in Salinas as a kid with my parents . I cannot wait for my husband to retire so we can start our plans to move back to the mother land .
Love your videos. My mother is American but father was from ecuador and I lived in salinas and guayaquil few yrs as a kid. Trying to convince my husband to retire there when we hit 60! Lol we are 49 now. Crossing fingers. We live in Vegas and I watch your videos all the time. Great job guys!
Went to Salinas about 10 years ago. Was a very nice place. I enjoyed it.
Love your reviews. Thank you. 😊
