- Today we get a Subaru Impreza in with a check engine light on. P0037 is the code and we use our scope, multimeter and Launch X431 to diagnose and fix this vehicle. If you found this video useful, please like and subscribe :)
Well done mate, top job👍
Great video. The uscope has a good length set of leads on it also.
This was hugely informative
Rob at the rate you're going there'll be nothing left to open at Christmas. Mate a good demonstration on how simple it is to connect a scope and the advantage to using it.
I have often used a test light to see if the ground is being plused. Doesn't give you the full picture but gives an idea of what is going on. I think we all go mad to get our hands on a Pico, and when we get it go out of our way to keep it in it's box. I have been looking at the u scope for two years think you have convinced me to buy it.
Handy little scope. 👍
Great one Rome.... Love the Method and explanation....and i was thinking the same thing using the scope as the main testing instrument...thanks again buddy
thank for video
Good to see the load pro in a video. Mr sullivan would be proud of his creation.i have one but use it as much as a friend of mine. Still reading the large book that it came
Would like to see what a good quality meter with a bar graph would show as most update 40 times per second
Nice one Rob
So the Oxygen sensor current pid is related to the heater circuit?
Interesting that current was about 1 A altough resistance measured 5 Ohms. I think maybe because of PWM signal, but power was steady 14 V.
Nice vid. Just got the same code on my 08 impreza. Got 18k Ohms on the sensor which indicates a fault? Whats your view on aftermarket sensors or is it best to get from the main dealer?
I see you have the Load Pro on your meter . Have you used it much ? I have one are starting in on it . Like anything else , it has its place . I can see that U Scope over the meter on PWM signals . It's on my list .
scope hookup with same ease as a voltmeter, it's a no-brainer!
Nice! can you show us in the DMM, the frequency of upstream heater circuit pwm signal?
Are you around Western Australia or East? Need to bring my car over to you
Hi, I have the same problem, in Nissan Micra 1.2 2012 petrol Dig-s in UK . the code is P0037,, I replaced the sensor bank 1 sensor 2 in garage, I got the same code again P0037, then replaced the seond sensor as well, both are aftermarket parts , we got the same code P0037 again and again and again, the mechanic told me that the engine ECU could be faulty we need to replace it as well ? is that logical ? Me I tend to replace the sensor bank 1 sensor 2 with original one from the Nissan dealer. Any help or sussegion thanks for the video.
test do not gess well done bud
