Inoffensive, intimate, appealing, timeless. This scent is not to impress the room, it is meant to impress the ones you allow to get in your personal bubble, The ones closest to you, the ppl you care about, the ones that matter! Ysl LNDL will always be a classy, sexy, imtimate scent. Regardless of the category LNDL will always be a crowd pleaser and attention getter. I sincerely believe 20 plus years from now YSL LNDL will still be around/ relevant simply because it is a remarkable scent that lasts through the ages.

I agree with you. I have tried many men's fragrances, and La Nuit de l'Homme is my 2nd favorite. Bleu de Chanel is my favorite. La Nuit de l'Homme is warm, sweet, and gentle. It is also long-lasting and classically masculine. It's a gentleman's fragrance.

She gave it to me, and I really looked forward to showering with it every day Lol it was so soft but kind of clean and invigorating. I’d say/add that 1: in the UK it isn’t common at all. I never smell it on anyone (and never really have) 2: as it isn’t a big projector it’s not a fragrance that people everywhere get sick of. You have to be relatively close to smell it. 3: it is a perfect balance of clean and cosy/seductive - and what woman doesn’t want a man who is clean and invitingly seductive! 4: people in the frag comm need to understand that just because a frag is ‘played out/old news’ for hardcore frag heads who are wanting something new to get excited about, that the average person in the street may never have even heard of it or smelt before. And also, as you said, it hasn’t stopped being a great, original scent. 5: I’d tell somebody to buy this over Sauvage. This is much more sophisticated imho and isn’t anywhere near as omnipresent as Sauvage. 6: that brings me to the last point. If people are still recommending frags like Sauvage which are absolutely everywhere, why are they saying that LNDLH is too common? I think we’ve probably reached a point now where younger people don’t even know LNDLH. If you are, say, 18 and wear this I think you’d stand out among your Sauvage and Bleu de Chanel etc wearing peers. Loving the vids. Keep it up 🙏🏻

I finally picked up a 200ml bottle at a great price and I am happy that I have. I truly love the smell of this. The performance however is really soft and week. If I had paid full price for a 100ml I would have been disappointed.
Love the Cologne and it last for hours on me specially in the club while I’m working! The more I sweat the stronger it smells! I get a lot of complements on this Cologne! I have had woman walk past me over and over to smell it!
It's still fantastic. The key is that, for people with big collections, this fits a certain niche perfectly. Sometimes the overly strong, spicy, sweet fragrances that folks tend to wear in the winter are just too much and this one is a welcome relief. It's also perfect for intimate occasions where you don't want to overwhelm someone with a fragrance that they may not even like. It's subtle enough where very few people are going to find it offensive and most will find it alluring and comforting.

It's funny. For many years I heard how amazing it was, so every time I was in a store I would smell it on a tester. Just hit me awful every time. This was way back before I knew as much as I do about fragrance now. I ended up finally bought it when my collection was growing like crazy. I agree completely agree. I just love the scent of this. The very first perfume that i bought. And this fragrance started my addiction to perfume. Just like what they say. “You feel Good, when you smell good”.
I agree with all u said, I have a 2017 bottle and 2019 bottle can tell the difference, but the scent is the same, may need few extra sprays on newer batches. You kno what's good and think it's a clone, parfums vintage Suave I believe it called, really good also.
Nice to see you're doing this video. I wore this for a late afternoon outing with my wife and it still works. My mother in law even commented on the scent as we were leaving.
La nuit still has magic with the women no doubt, but I prefer The One EDP!! It also still work with women and it's more my style and smells better to me.
So I received my 6.7 oz bottle today. Its a 4-2022 batch. Its still smells the same overall but you can tell its weaker and not as strong. as the original formulas from many years ago. The actual projection of the scent disappears after about 3 hours but its still lingering on the skin. Is it still worth it in 2023? Depends on the price you pay. I paid $120 for the 6.7 oz bottle and Ive pulled the trigger on the sprayer about 25 times today overall throughout the day just to keep the projection alive. If I were to wear it everyday, then the bottle would drain down pretty quickly but I usually only wear it 2 or 3 days a week in the fall and 1 or 2 days a week in the winter. That being said, Id say yes its till worth it in 2023 if you enjoy this scent profile.

must be one that varies a lot on different peoples skin cos i bought a bottle a couple weeks ago and a good spray on skin lasts over 10 hours, admittedly with not the greatest projection but close up still smells beautiful

I had this Parfum back in 2012. It was amazing. I just another one from frangrancenet. I was in to Parfume back in 2011 and then got on to Cars. Sold my 2005 911 now back in to fragrance to keep myself busy

Was unsure but got 200ml and love it even though its 2019 version think of last 6 months its mature smells much stronger then when I first got it but trigger happy with it but last upto 8hrs on me and I can smell it in the when I get whiffs in the air so yes every penny it's still worth it in your collection to experience. Even though formulated not smelt nothing like this so far
I smelled the old one and the new one.....bought the new one. I think it's great. One tip....you don't have to splash it on by the gallon...a couple squirts is plenty.

Honestly I think as long as it smells the same the performance doesn't matter. You can carry a travel spray to reapply which you'll need anyways for almost any fragrance(unless it's an absolute beast mode fragrance like happyland for example) after 6 hours. Even dior sauvage EDT which is known for its push and performance is unsmellable after 6 hours. Not even a full work day. I just purchased my bottle of la nuit de l'homme for someone special. I'll just use a travel sprayer if I need to reapply but I've heard from some people that it still lasts a decent 6 hours so I imagine people will be able to detect it for atleast 2 hours. Which works for me because I go on a break every 2 hours so I can just reapply when I walk out. I am just hoping it doesn't come off "Old man"ish from the powder. I bought a sample of a niche powdery warm spicey before (foux de fafa from happyland) and it smelled like old man. To the point that my entire family said it as soon as I sprayed it on.
Iceburg32 I spray three sprays to my head, behind my ears and middle of neck near my hairline. One spray on each forearm and two sprays near my collar in the front. It’s pretty hard to over spray YSL La Nuit DE L’homme.
I had a sample vial of this and I liked it. I never got around to getting a bottle though. I might when I see a good deal. I have L'Homme the original in the EDT.
I just purchased YSL about a month ago and it doesn't perform well. It's weak. It smells okay but it don't project well enough for me. Besides going to Creed or Parfum De Marley I say nothing out beats Bleu De Chanel EDP and PARFUM.
Everything is ok with this great fragance except the performance and longevity it is very poor the first formula was a beast but the new one i need to re aply
I have smelt an older version that has a red colour to it. I have to be honest, that version that I smelt is better than today. The one of today is still beautiful, don’t get me wrong, but the red juice one had a sweeter scent to it that I really like. I wish they could bring that back but it has been reformulated unfortunately. I will still buy the new version but it was better before.
I don’t really understand the hype on this fragrance. On my skin I just get powder and almost barbershop scent - no spice or sweetness. Maybe it’s just a skin chemistry thing, it’s nice but not worth the money imo
idk how well known this is but i think this is important news to share: so first of all in terms of reformulations of la nuit there have only been 2 in the past years... you will hear people talk about wether there have been further reformulations around 2018 or 2020 and so on but if you look at the actual formula code (back of the box after the ingredients list) you can see that the orignal formula code is 8YB02-1, the 1st reformulation (~2012) is 8YB02-2 and then the 2nd reformulation (~2015) is C167049/1 and all the batches until now have had the same formula code, so the same juice (my 2020 bottle included e.g.)... you will see differences in colouration but that's mostly effects of maceration i believe... maybe there are some minute batch variations but negligable considering there are variations anyway with different skin chemistry etc... however, i recently purchased a new 2022 bottle and upon spraying it i thought i got a fake, it was that different... lo and behold when i looked on the back of the box there was a new formula code "N70011799/1"... so apparently there has been another reformulation recently, idk when exactly... if you wanna talk about bad reformulation this is it imo... this is truly a watered down la nuit, the previous batches since 2015 seem amazing compared to these newer ones... pick up any leftover bottles from previous years (C167049/1) while you have the chance guys...

Well i bought sauvage last week first time and i regret it alot. It doesnt smell strong, and the smell is gone for me in 15 min. It also just smell like i just took a shower. It smells like bodywash or something. Definitely you should go for one of the others. The smell of sauvage isnt good and is a cheapy smell in my oppinion. You can easily get that same smell by just taking a shower.
Could YSL La Nuit work for very hot weather? Between 25-30C ( 77-86 Fahrenheit )? More than 30C I dont even like using fragrances even fresh ones. I live in Brazil so its basically 20-30C all year, could it work during the night? I dont think La nuit is a good idea for the day here lol
TBH : I did blind buy gift set of YSL La Nuit De L'home due to the hype , And it 2017 bath. I accidentally sprayed on the morning and it got dizzy. So on it put me off for a while but grew on you.

Give you an advice...wear it in warm weather and go for 5-6 sprays. It will hold like 6-7 hours

I had this Parfum back in 2012. It was amazing. I just another one from frangrancenet. I was in to Parfume back in 2011 and then got on to Cars. Sold my 2005 911 now back in to fragrance to keep myself busy

Was unsure but got 200ml and love it even though its 2019 version think of last 6 months its mature smells much stronger then when I first got it but trigger happy with it but last upto 8hrs on me and I can smell it in the when I get whiffs in the air so yes every penny it's still worth it in your collection to experience. Even though formulated not smelt nothing like this so far

Honestly I think as long as it smells the same the performance doesn't matter. You can carry a travel spray to reapply which you'll need anyways for almost any fragrance(unless it's an absolute beast mode fragrance like happyland for example) after 6 hours. Even dior sauvage EDT which is known for its push and performance is unsmellable after 6 hours. Not even a full work day. I just purchased my bottle of la nuit de l'homme for someone special. I'll just use a travel sprayer if I need to reapply but I've heard from some people that it still lasts a decent 6 hours so I imagine people will be able to detect it for atleast 2 hours. Which works for me because I go on a break every 2 hours so I can just reapply when I walk out. I am just hoping it doesn't come off "Old man"ish from the powder. I bought a sample of a niche powdery warm spicey before (foux de fafa from happyland) and it smelled like old man. To the point that my entire family said it as soon as I sprayed it on.
It does matter, because the price is still the same but the performance is a lot worse.
For this price I expect more than a 2 hour performance.

Iceburg32 I spray three sprays to my head, behind my ears and middle of neck near my hairline. One spray on each forearm and two sprays near my collar in the front. It’s pretty hard to over spray YSL La Nuit DE L’homme.

How many sprays should you apply without it being overwhelming since it's reformulated?
I just purchased YSL about a month ago and it doesn't perform well. It's weak. It smells okay but it don't project well enough for me. Besides going to Creed or Parfum De Marley I say nothing out beats Bleu De Chanel EDP and PARFUM.
What are better date fragrances than this?
YSL keep reformulating their amazing fragrances and making them worse. Kouros, La Nuit De L'Homme, such a shame.
I have a 2020 batch that I will say smells the closest to the 2009 batch. This is my personal opinion based on having owned both. 💁🏾♂️

I have smelt an older version that has a red colour to it. I have to be honest, that version that I smelt is better than today. The one of today is still beautiful, don’t get me wrong, but the red juice one had a sweeter scent to it that I really like. I wish they could bring that back but it has been reformulated unfortunately. I will still buy the new version but it was better before.

I don’t really understand the hype on this fragrance. On my skin I just get powder and almost barbershop scent - no spice or sweetness. Maybe it’s just a skin chemistry thing, it’s nice but not worth the money imo
idk how well known this is but i think this is important news to share: so first of all in terms of reformulations of la nuit there have only been 2 in the past years... you will hear people talk about wether there have been further reformulations around 2018 or 2020 and so on but if you look at the actual formula code (back of the box after the ingredients list) you can see that the orignal formula code is 8YB02-1, the 1st reformulation (~2012) is 8YB02-2 and then the 2nd reformulation (~2015) is C167049/1 and all the batches until now have had the same formula code, so the same juice (my 2020 bottle included e.g.)... you will see differences in colouration but that's mostly effects of maceration i believe... maybe there are some minute batch variations but negligable considering there are variations anyway with different skin chemistry etc... however, i recently purchased a new 2022 bottle and upon spraying it i thought i got a fake, it was that different... lo and behold when i looked on the back of the box there was a new formula code "N70011799/1"... so apparently there has been another reformulation recently, idk when exactly... if you wanna talk about bad reformulation this is it imo... this is truly a watered down la nuit, the previous batches since 2015 seem amazing compared to these newer ones... pick up any leftover bottles from previous years (C167049/1) while you have the chance guys...

Well i bought sauvage last week first time and i regret it alot. It doesnt smell strong, and the smell is gone for me in 15 min. It also just smell like i just took a shower. It smells like bodywash or something. Definitely you should go for one of the others. The smell of sauvage isnt good and is a cheapy smell in my oppinion. You can easily get that same smell by just taking a shower.

L'homme is better for the date. And dolce and Gabbana the one EDP is the better for the close encounters (intimate).
