No he didn’t he was speeding up because that’s what you need to do if you want to pass 😂. But Larson was also speeding up cause he didn’t want to get passed (understandable). It was just racing, I miss when using all of the racetrack wasn’t bad and it was just racing. Champions and winners often race dirty but you have to do that if you want to get a chance to win. Now, turning someone on purpose is a different story because that is just foolish

DIRTY Denny
I didn't see Denny send him into the wall. Larson was going way too fast and should have let up. Denny had position. What penalty will Larson receive for retaliation during a caution?
First there shouldn't be a penalty. Nascar needs to let this play out on or off the track. Second Denny absolutely used Larson up, had zero to do with Larson driving in to fast. Denny knew what he was doing, he carried more speed into the corner and intentionally got into Larson, the exact same thing he did last year. Couldn't beat him outright and as soon as Denny got low on him, I knew what was coming. If you're a Denny fan that's fine but that's twice this year he's wrecked Kyle for the win.
@@TheTN24 I will have to respectfully disagree. There was a 6 to 8 foot gap between the cars before Larson hit the wall. Larson drove faster than his car could handle in the corner. Denny had a huge run and Larson attempted to keep up. Then the intentionally sideswipe of Hamlin while on caution should most definitely be a penalty. When Bubba retaliated against Larson, he had to sit out a week. Nascar needs to be consistent.

@@jasons9422 Once Denny doored him that alone sent him into the wall. It's hard enough getting through turn one at Pocono on a restart, even harder when you get doored. Again, watch the angle Denny takes, he let his car go up the track, he could have held it down but he drove it in hard knowing that Larson was gonna be there and ran him up the track. Age old move. He knew exactly what he was doing. Regardless though, that's 2x Hamlin has resorted to wrecking Larson to get a win this year. If Hamlin's gonna run that, time for payback, simple as that.

Beyond understanding how any nascar fan can take exception with this when it's common in every race. Even the announcers say someone will "move" another or "put a bumper" to someone.

@@DaveShamblin I haven't watched nascar since Hamlin was a rookie, but I keep playing this back and I just don't see the issue. I follow F1 and those guys are absolute babies when it comes to defensive and attacking moves. I get it; their cars are much more fragile.
But I can't even see them protesting this. If there was contact, which I don't see, then it was minimal and there was so much space. Hamlin was ahead coming out and left two car widths. I'm just beguiled.
I love racing like this. I just have a problem with him getting Chase Elliot suspended for a race when he races aggressive but it's ok for him to do it. Just own you made an aggressive move and don't whine when it happens to you.

Over the past week, either I've missed it, or no ones mentioned that Hamlin wrecked Larson for the win on the last lap at Kansas back in May.

Looked like Larson was gonna ram Denny but at the last second he remembered what happened to the last two guys that right hooked somebody.
Well, 2 of several drivers who have hooked someone, but being a Hendrick car he definitely gets suspended.
I remember a time when the announcers would say "rubbing is racing" now we're crying about a little contact? He didn't wreck him, and the retaliation shot during caution is what people should be pissed about. Bunch of crybabies racing now.
Funny how at charlotte we seen the 9 in same spot and then it was OK only thing different the 9 repaid denny. And he got sepended now both Dennys wins this year he wreck Kyle 😮
Charlotte was a bit different. There Denny actually bounced him off the wall and it was about the 3rd time he had done it that race it was also they weren't even halfway into the longest race of the season. Here it was going for the win and they did make a little contact in the corner, but Larson just lost the rear end and slid instead of letting off he stayed in the gas. And Denny has never wrecked Kyle on either of his wins. The first time Larson slid into the wall himself and Denny couldn't slow down in time and just got into the back of him and this time Larson just slid up into the wall. Both times Larson caused his own damage and both times Larson kept driving.
We must be watching different videos. Hamlin is nearly in the third lane when he's pushing Larson into the wall off of the turn. That is Denny staying in the gas and not letting off

I've been watching NASCAR since 1965 this is nothing new. Dale Ernhard Sr. use to do this 5h7t all the time. Now we have his son yacking about It, (What Done Forgot about "Deddy") and worst Kyle Bush yacking about giving respect (Give Me A Break). Every one of these A-Wholes pulled this 5h7t at one time or another. Few racers are clean on the track, like a Mark Martin.
