    Protein treatments not only help with just overall hair growth but it also helps with your edges as well because your edges typically are the weakest areas of your hair. So doing a protein treatment once a month really helps strengthen the hair .

    Black seed oil works great. It makes hair grow as well as offers a myriad of other health benefits. The thing is you have to make sure it is AUTHENTIC black seed oil. I used to purchase my BS oil from Amazon and I stopped because the last bottle I received from the particular manufacturer I was using at that time decided to change the oil. It was straight up vegetable oil. There were other complaints about this same company on the Amazon website changing the oil recipe. So I stopped purchasing my BS oil from Amazon.

In terms of Rice water, I follow another national hair UA-cam channel and she stated that rice water was not healthy for our hair because it contains arsenic. Why is it that after I've olied my hair (with Jamaican castor oil) and put in leave-in-conditioner (cantu leave in conditioner) my hair is still feeling 'hard'. But then, when water comes into the mix my edges become softer but the rest of my hair (which also gets wet) is the same???? I've even put some melted pure shea butter and mixed it with the Jamaican castor oil but again, nothing

    • @saffieraderby9123
      @saffieraderby9123 4 роки тому +1

      Maybe it's bcs you have low porosity. If the thick Jamaican black castor oil AND on top of that your putting Shea butter which is one of the thickest consistency I don't think your hair could suck up all the products. When your using water it balanced the 2 together and makes its al little bit more liquidy. I think that you could either apply 1 of the 2 and use WARM water to open up your hair follicle.😊

    • @Chazzzisawesome
      @Chazzzisawesome  4 роки тому +8

      Black castor oil feels terrible in my hair but the long lasting results are amazing. With jbco you want to keep the products simple and slippery. I don’t use Shea butter because I have low porosity and it doesn’t penetrate my hair....it just seals it off. You are using two sealing products so your strands aren’t being penetrated with anything moisturizing.
