    The best treatment is to grow your edges back
    1. Stop wearing tight pony tail
    2. Don't wear your long heavy braids in pony style.
    3. Style your hair towards your face, like a Bob, fringe or any style that covers the part of your hair where your edges as thinning..
    4. Stay away from corn rows.
    5. Apply castor oil or wild hair growth oil to the thin areas.
    Any of these steps will help

    I had my hair thin due to an illness and although some of my hair grew back the edges were weak and would just fall out If I gently pulled the hair. I started this treatment and apply regularly. 6 months later it's like not only are the roots holding but so many new hair regrowth. I am so thankful for you to put these videos out, I was so ashamed to go out because of my hair loss.

    Why would you do a video on regrowing edges when there's no problem with yours and you're showing pictures of other people with severely damaged hair? For this video to be effective you would need to have shown before and after pictures of YOUR edges after applying these methods... not how long and thick they are now. Just not credible.

    One thing I think you missed was not using combs or brushes. It was kinda covered in your bonus tips. But what I found is that only finger detangling works best to not lose hair. I would have also put wigs in the protective style section. Of course these would need to be ones that are glueless but they do help grow edges back when worn properly. Just some thoughts to add to your already incredible video 😊....

      If u have not already please go to a dermatologist. They will be able to tell u for sure u have it, because some hairstylist tell ppl that and that may not be the case. Also if u have it there are videos with ppl who say they were able to grow their edges even though they were told they could not because of alopecia.

    Haven't watched all but had to leave a comment of what I think
    Well I think I may be actually suffering from the traction alopecia because I usually made tight long braids before and I had to do a big chop a yr and 10months back year
    My hair growth is slow thou like its still short thou I treat and use oils and all that but my edges just seems relentless to grow out 😪

    Your edges are goals!
    I was wondering since I’m a cheerleader and I have to wear my hair in a high ponytail daily, will the oils still help and is this why my hair is thinning?

    • @ANGIEBEE
      @ANGIEBEE  4 роки тому +3

      Yes most likely keeping your hair in the same style is thinning out your edges. I would recommend a lighter hydrating oil like macadamia or almond but not right before you put you hair into the ponytail cause if the hair is to soft it could snap. Also take your ponytail down as soon as you can after you cheer. Hope that helps 💗

    • @nikkieh1445
      @nikkieh1445 4 роки тому

      It’s Abbey I was a cheerleader through high school and recruited further to college and my hair got thinner because of the ponytail even tho I toke it down as quickly as possible, I am growing my edges back after I graduated last year and no longer is cheering on high plan...I use sulfate free shampoo and do hair masks as often as I can and I use a hair serum around my edges...it’s talking time but I’ve noticed a improvement:)

    • @CR-ce5lf
      @CR-ce5lf 4 роки тому +1

      It’s Abbey don’t pull your hair tight, if you have to wear a ponytail take it down as soon as you can, you should do deep conditioning treatments, use wild hair growth oil, castor oil and let your hair rest
