Me on Lion New Zealand for the Ocean Globe Race start in Auckland 2024

I had the privilege of a spot on board Lion New Zealand for the restart of the Ocean Globe Race leg from Auckland to Uruguay. The 50th anniversary of the first Whitbread race in 1973. On a legend, in amongst legends. This is just the highlights of my time on board, a bit of helming (an honour to hold the wheel that Sir Peter Blake did), and some chilling out.
Also showing off some snazzy activewear from Pawlie. Not just comfortable, but I decided it would make me easy to spot if I fell overboard !!! 😂
