    I bought one. Mine doesnt work like advertised here. Hard to roll you can forget trying it with your thumb plus it will not rest on the nut like shows wont roll up on it way to small or tight . His rolls so easy here what you buy wont do what u see. Gz i bought 2. For me was very disappointing mine doesn’t do what his is doing feel like I got scammed or ripped off

    Great playing! Is there a way to adjust the tension? I just got mine, and on my Taylor it seems like the pressure needs to be increased so that the strings don't buzz, esecialaly the higher strings. Any suggertions, anybody? And thanks in advance.

  • @YouKnowTheyExist

    And does it work well on a 12-string? Can you increase the tension of the springs? Or get a stronger set of springs for 12-strings?

    THE PROBLEM I SEE IS DEPENDING ON YOUR HAND AND NECK SIZE YOU MAY BUMP IT AND ROLL IT AWAY FROM THE FRET ITS BEHIND. I OCCASIONALLY BUMP MY KYSER CAPO WHEN I PLAY NEXT TO IT BUT THE WAY ITS MADE ITS NOT DESIGNED TO MOVE.

    The back of the neck of my precious acoustic Stevens SJ-P (southern Jumbo Pallisander) doesn't have a (tri)angular shape. It is smoothly curved. I am afraid that the solid plastic rol that slides over the back of the neck wil cause two tracks because the radius of the rol is quite (tri)angular...It would be preferable if the shape the roll was less triangular and if it was made from a sturdy type of rubber.

      THE ROLLER IS IS NOT PLASTIC ITS RUBBER.

      You might be right. I'm using it now and then but it is a very hard type of rubber. I would prefer a softer type, though not too soft.

      Great deal! Just be careful if it’s an imitation of the Glider it may use harder plastics that might damage your guitar.
      Fingers crossed for you...let me know how you get on 😉🎵

    Tried it out on the Martin Dreadnaught and it holds tuning really well! We've no need to change during the song, but it's great to change frets so quickly :)

    I test all pretension-ed capos on the first fret to make sure it has enough strength to eliminate fret buzz (especially open top E/F) on the fret board. I understand there are a lot of different sized necks, but I've yet to see a review that confirms this, anyone else have a link to said test?

      I have personally not had any issues with this capo on the 1st fret. I have, however, only been using it on my Roadhouse Parlour. I will check and test on my other guitars and get back to you on the results. Thanks!

    I have 10s on my electrics and it seems to make all the notes slightly sharp.
    Am I doing something wrong? Or is there a way to lessen the tension so I can use it while performing with other musicians?

      Hi Joseph, thanks for watching and commenting. The songs are original compositions. Only the first one has made it into a song - ‘Eva’ by Tomorrow Bird. The others are just little snippets I wrote for the purpose of demonstrating on this channel.

    How far can you roll it all at once? Can you do it from 0 to 12 in one movement?

    • @AverageReviewsFromAnAverageGuy
      @AverageReviewsFromAnAverageGuy  5 років тому +1

      I can manage up to two frets at a time, but if you had a larger hand you could possible manage a bit more. You wouldn’t be able to to go from 0 - 12 though as it is controlled via the roll of your thumb or palm

    • @XChristianNoirX
      @XChristianNoirX 5 років тому

      @@AverageReviewsFromAnAverageGuy Another way I've seen is to roll it using your forearm, although I don't thing you can do 12 frets at once..
      What about pulling it by the attachment pins?

    • @AverageReviewsFromAnAverageGuy
      @AverageReviewsFromAnAverageGuy  5 років тому +1

      That’s a thought! I’ll give it a try...but I also doubt you could do all 12....
      In fact, the Capo itself probably wouldn’t fit any higher than the 10th

    • @XChristianNoirX
      @XChristianNoirX 5 років тому

      @@AverageReviewsFromAnAverageGuy It could depend on the guitars too... How the neck tapers, how you adjust the capo, etc.
      My main thing is using it on an electric. I have a song I need 3 hands to play lol. It also switches back and forth... Quite a few times. :(
