Mooer MRV-3 WoodVerb - Acoustic Reverb with Modulation - Guitar Pedal Review

- Mooer have a huge range of micro guitar effects pedals but it was this acoustic reverb that caught my eye (and my wallet). The MRV-3 Woodverb has a wonderfully deep reverb plus a chorus-type effect and a whooshing filter. For the price, it seems like a fun addition to any acoustic guitarists pedal arsenal.

I adore reverbs and delays and that’s surprisingly quite impressive Andy. Beautiful tone on the guitar too. Great video - thanks 👍👍
Great demonstration.
Nice. Sounded blooming awesome on the mod setting with the mix down lower.
I was surprised I liked that. I learned!
I just got the mooer pitch box, it's pretty decent 👍
What do you use it for? I think I had one at one point.
@@TheGuitarGeek I've actually bought it for doing the thin Lizzy guitar harmonies in my band😁
Sounds great. I don't know much about acoustic electrics rigs. Does a pedal like this offer features that make this especially suited for an acoustic rather than an electric? Or could one plug an electric into it and get the same results?
Nothing stopping you plugging an electric guitar into it. The reverse also works, plugging an acoustic into an "electric" reverb pedal. This one is just tweaked for acoustic players.
Nice acoustic guitar enhancer, might be perfect to give you the feeling ob being in big venue and not locked down in solitude.
Now there is a good idea!!!
I know this is a video about the pedal, but I adore that Taylor. I played one a few times locally, and in over four decades of playing guitar, I've never played an acoustic that felt as perfect for me.
The price however, was not perfect.
Great video as usual, Andy. Stay safe.
IT is of course fine to focus on the guitar! It’s the best acoustic I’ve ever played but I had to sell a lot and work hard to afford it. It’s worth it
@@TheGuitarGeek I considered selling a couple to be able to make a dent in the cost. The problem is that I don't want to get rid of any of the guitars I currently own.
More power to you though for finding a way.
I played a koa topped model that was 2.5k more than this one, and to be honest, as beautiful as the builder model is, those koa models are drop dead gorgeous... and yet the builder model simply played, and in my opinion sounded, better than the more expensive model.
I also played a Koa model! I preferred the builders edition too
Nice demo. I have the Mooer Cry Baby and it works a treat. I find it best before the looper thogh... That way you can loop something and play aomething else with different settings. Then food has to be thrown at me...
I have a mooer wah somewhere. I’ll have to dig it out
@@TheGuitarGeek No. I meant the Baby Water (whatever was I thinking about). Baby Water is the other Mooer acoustic mini pedal. Sorry. It's a chorus/delay thing. Sorry again. 24th day in lockdown...
joguipo it’s fine! How is the baby water?
Jazz note. I’m am the best at those.
I often miss them but I got a great one this time
TheGuitarGeek xperteeeeeezzzeee
laughed at that too.
Still waiting for the Prestige Goldtop video 🤷. Lets watch this in mean time.
Good idea!
@@TheGuitarGeek Andy, you are quite enjoyable on acoustics ... more acoustics ;)
When you lost track of time, did you end up playing the longest acoustic solo in history? If so...Congratulations! 👍😁
I think I managed the SECOND longest acoustic solo. The first place belongs to my cat who once spent 6 hours trying to capture a mouse that had made its way into the sound hole of my guitar. 🤘🏻
@@TheGuitarGeek Well at least the record was kept in the family. 🐱👍😎
Jason Bourgeois yes. But he always looks at me knowing he is number one. It’s unnerving
@@TheGuitarGeek Cheeky kitty! 🐱 I am sure your solo was way more melodic! 😀
Why is sean schmeichell playng guitar
I prefer metal notes. I clicked on this hoping that the pedal would be simulating a wooden reverb chamber or something. Alas. Also, electric guitars are frequently made of wood. Apparently.
Sorry to disappoint...
@@TheGuitarGeek says you playing your Fender Jazznote Master
spankenheim I did nail that
Pedals for acoustic? 🤔
you know.. acoustic guitars... you know... the normally quiet ones
Can haz metal zone grandpa’s guitars ??? Mmmm yes everything needs reverb!
Apparently even Etsy 😂
Nice reference!!!! 🥳🥳💥
Re France? Oh references available upon request.
Mine lasted 2 live sets, worst $100 I've spent on music.
"Usable sound" and "unusable sound" are very subjective to each musician. lol
Whatever you personally enjoy, I would say is usable.
Mike Anderson I totally agree
