Can't believe it's been 2 years! Curious if any other protection products are in the works? ODG is simply amazing to use. And the end product and performance is just as amazing.
Feel free to have at it! Defense gel will not win longevity races, it was designed more for enthusiasts who detail their car regularly. As such, this product was designed with slickness, gloss and easy clean-up for tar, grime and bugs. Just putting that out there if you need longevity, there is plenty of other products that do it!
@@KevinAtwell0342 to be honest, most ceramic coatings don't fare well in the elements anyway, which kind of defeats the purpose of spending the time and money to do it.
@@elsey1976 You sound like you’ve been let down or left with a broken heart. I never had an issue. How long have you been a detailer? I’m going on 34 years, doing damn well for myself too. Have a nice day, god bless.
@@oberkcarcare I I intend to use it over a non-Sio2 coating rated for up to 5 years of durability. I would like to use this a sacrificial top layer for that coating. Hopefully it plays along well with my base coat.

Will this bond to non-sio2 coatings?
It should have no issues, just understand that if you are applying to a temporary coating below it, it may be held to that coating's longevity.
