Do you have to polish and clay before use?
Hi Michael! For a flawless finish it is recommended to clay and polish but it isn't mandatory.

Can I use the waterless Swift Wipe to wash the car then apply the hydroslick?
Hey Vic! Absolutely, it is perfectly fine to use Swift Wipe to prep the surface for HydroSlick.
Hi. What should I do to re- apply this wax? Just normal foam, hand wash and go? I’m normally after all using ceramic detailer.
I’ve read several reviews that state how hard it is to remove. Is this a characteristic of the product or, a misapplication/ user error ? ?
Hello, great review of your product. My car Is a dodge challenger T/A. It has matte black stripes on the sides of the car. Do i need to tape them off or is this product safe to use over them?
Hey there! Yes, take caution when working around matte/satin surfaces.
If I buy new car would it be safe to apply right away or I have to clean the car with something special before applying this ?
How long is the protection
Hi Karim! HydroSlick lasts up to 12 months!!
Chemical Guys Hi , thank you so much . Hi from france 🇫🇷
So will this fill and hide any minor scratches that you would normally see on a bright day or do you have to buff and seal it first?
I have used this on a new set of wheels though and it has worked great so far, very easy to apply and creates a great shine.
Can you use this stuff on a boat ?
Absolutely!!
How's it handle water spots after a wash if you don't dry it.
I'm late here to the game, But I have a question, is this replacing the butter wet wax? or I can use both and which one first? or which one is better? please help!
This then butter. This should be your base
Curious if I have to dispose of the sponge and towels after using this product?
Hi Chris! HydroSlick will harden the applicator and towels that are used so unless they are washed immediately after use, they will need to be replaced. You can still use them for cleaning undercarriage components and tires.

Can I use the Blacklight and then apply this HydroSlick to my black car?
Hey Ralph! It would be best to apply HydroSlick before Black Light for the most longevity.

Question, is it supposed to look like jello? Just wondering if the tube I got from Amazon is whacked or normal.
Yes, it looks like jello.
Hii
I just bought a new car can i skip polish process and just start with hydrocharge then hydroslick then butter wax
Hey there! It is perfectly fine to skip polishing, if not necessary, and then apply HydroCharge and HydroSlick then finish with Butter Wet Wax.
@ChemicalGuys can HydroSlick be applied ontop of PPF?
Can you reuse the applicator pad after being used?
It is worth applying it with a polisher?
Guys I used this product on my 67 Mustang and it popped a shine like crazy, this stuff works! Question I have it can I layer it to get even more shine??
Hey! Thanks for the amazing feedback and yes you may layer it. Happy detailing!
My hood is painted satin black. Is this safe for the hood? Will is mess up the satin finish?
Hey there! HydroSlick is intended for gloss or shiny finishes. Use Meticulous Matte Spray Sealant to maintain a crisp satin black finish.
