That is a gorgeous Volvo. Redblock, rear wheel drive in fire engine red. Love it!

Cool Volvo, I love it! Not on quite the same scale but I have a nearly 20yr old V50 and I love it, although it is not getting driven much at the moment as I am still playing with my newish purchase of a BMW touring, but I will get back to using the V50 as a daily once the novelty of the BMW gets back to normal, look forward to seeing this one transformed

I know someone in south shropshire who is breaking a 940 with the same paint code (I think) and a better interior. If you are interested in parts let me know

I think the rubbing sound may be caused by two pieces rubbing together.

In some instances this may even be beneficial, but this is not one of them.

Thanks fagilebeaster, the camera is pretty kind to the paintwork. It's in need of a good cut and polish and some lacquer peel sorting but overall it's coming together nicely now

Just need to strap a big outboard motor on the back and I'll be cruising the waterways!

Good job it's an auto, otherwise there wouldn't be space for your left foot.

That brake pedal is like a brick itself!

@@rustenuts in LHD models, there's a resting pad for your foot, but in rhd there's none. And it's not like a Defender where the clutch pedal is designed so you can keep the foot on it, in these volvos there's no space at all, so you have to take it off altogether. I wouldn't buy one.
