With the up and coming return of Mega Evolution alongside Pokémon Legends: Z-A I thought it would be fun to give the Dex Holders all access to the fan favourite mechanic with some getting new Pokémon to their team and others having old Pokémon return with new strength! seeing as not everyone got a chance to use it.

I have always had this idea of Wally getting a mega tyranitar. Imagine if Wally decided to go to the jhoto region on Ruby’s recommendation and during his travels finds and catch’s a larvitar. And over time eventually evolves into a mega evolution compatible tyranitar.
But... why? There is already a mega gallade and gardevoir, you know, his ace pokemon of ORAS and RSE respectively.
@@ladonmccabe because on top of the fact that ruby and sapphire already have the mega stones for both gardevoir and gallade, manga wally has his own identity separate from his game aspect.
He wasn’t handed a ralts on a silver platter but instead using Ruby’s ralts he had to capture his own Pokémon in kecleon. Instead of chasing after the protagonist wally went on his own journey for himself catching his own unique team with a green theming. And instead of spending an entire game getting beaten by the protagonist in the manga he becomes a major asset in saving hoenn by being the one responsible for waking up rayquaza.
In fact I disliked the fact that in the ORAS arc wally was reset to factory standard in both appearance and Pokémon team. How badass would it have been during that arc if Wally with an upgraded respiratory suit saving ruby with the flygon Norman gave him.
All of these choices are amazing! I would replace Whitley's Audino for Slowbro.
She's the "liberator" so she would unlock Shellder's potential as symbiotic unity.
Great video! I think my favourite duos were X & Lucario, Red & Aerodactyl and Green & Mawile. Also this my first introduction to Scarlet as I'm not totally caught up with Scarlet and Violet, and she seems like a really interesting character from the start, having a different air to her compared to the previous dex holders.
I think Red would have Mewtwo X, since Blane already gets Mewtwo Y :v
Blane has both since mewtwo is partnered with him full time.

Similar with X & Green Oak (by giving Him Mega Scizor), Red must learn to know the right time to Mega AND Who to Mega🤔

Cause well…She already has A Lopunny as It’s One of The Three Mons She bonded with The most from later in DP Chapter to The Platinum Chapter (The Other Two Mons being Rapidash & Empoleon)
-Crystal📲Metagross⚙️
Same One that She lent to Emerald at The Battle Dome. NOT ONLY could It help out with power & strength as A Psuedo-Legend, It being able to do complex calculations and It’s more intelligent than a supercomputer could help Crys with some crazy PokeBall kicking tricks⚽️
-Sodo⚒️ & Schildy✖️ Blastoise💧 & Venusaur🍃 respectively
Squirtle💧 & Bulbasaur🍃 are Starters given to You by Honey in The Master Dojo AND Their Final Forms are capable of BOTH Mega🧬 AND G-Max✖️
Decided Blastoise for Sodo AND Venusaur for Schildy as Blastoise’s Cannons & Shell could at least be “weapons” that could need mainetenance by Sodo🔫🐢 AND that Their chosen Kanto Starter is strong against Their Galar Starters’ Weakness:
Sodo has Rillaboom🍃 Who’s weak to Fire🔥 can be countered by Blastoise💧 while
Schildy has Cinderace🔥 Who’s weak to Water💧 can be countered by Venusaur🍃

In Paldea, Miriam who is The Academy’s School Nurse (AND the next school year’s Health Teacher) uses One which like The rest of Her Team doubles as BOTH a Battler and a helper for treating patients. Perhaps for Glalie’s case, treatments that need ice & cold👩⚕️
While not A Poison-type, I think This could help out Moon in treating patients as well…ESPECIALLY Sun😒
-💭Black & White: Garchomp🐉🌏 & Tyranitar🪨😈 respectively
Garchomp for Black as without Reshiram, He needs a replacement for the remaining slot of His Team. It is a Pseudo Legendary
ALSO maybe This could be A Shiny Gible that was later Fully Evolved which He received from Benga after He battled Him & Won🌃✨
Tyranitar for White for its role in Big Monster Series movies AND providing special effects in Invader, Giant Woman, AND The Red Fog Series Movies at PokeStar Studios🦖🎬

Alakazam & Gengar are Mons that are Fully Evolved via Trade. ALSO considering BOTH Their Teams in games AND Blue Herself actually has an Abra, EITHER Mon can be for EITHER of Them

As The self prcolaimed “Prince of Speed”, either The Canine whose “explosive speed is equal to that of a lightning bolt” OR The Bird that flies at Mach 2 can help pitch in if Miraidon needs help
As for Gardevoir, reasons Youv’e said about BOTH Violet & Platinum PLUS since Rotoji is a Rotom Phone with an AI copy of Violet’s Butler's personality, a Gardevoir could serve as a maid to aid BOTH Violet & Rotoji (Maybe A Shiny One to fit more the role)🧹

MOST Unorthodox Idea BUT not only further connection of Johto & Sinnoh and MOST importantly, Lucario is The ONLY Final Form of A Baby Pokemon that can Mega. Fitting for The DexHolder given the name “The Hatcher/Breeder” for His Ability of bringing out potential of Baby Pokemon

Despite NOT Legit Caught, I can’t think of any other DexHolder that would be truly fit to use the synchro of hearts to have either Latias OR Latios “go further Evolution”
Interesting thought experiments. I’d not give me gas to those who didn’t have them to begin with tbh.
I also think that in the manga only Blaine can mega evolve mewtwo since they have a bond closer then anyone else as literal blood brothers. Also I think in the manga Blaine is the reason why mewtwo even has a second mega evolution. His special form represents mewtwos bond with mew while his physical form represents mewtwos bond with Blaine. One side a Pokémon the other a human.
On this same spectrum If dexoys could perform mega evolution or some adaptive equivalent I bet only red can access this since one of the two deoxys’s giovanni constructed has reds DNA.

For me, it is possible to add Pokemon to both Sapphire and Silver's team, and that is by giving Silver Mega Hounddom, which is very similar to Silver's evil character, but at the same time he has loyalty to his trainer, and giving Sapphire Mega Garchomp because he is a better choice for Aggron in terms of battles
