The only fair treatment is tax on expenditure not on Income. So, already GST collection is morethan Income tax. So tax the expenditure. If tax payer gets more money, he will buy the consumer durables, Industry will grow, economy grow, more industry more job. On other hand, rich pay high GST

Yes. LTCG applicable. In SGB if you keep it for 8 years then LTCG is not applicable. In addition you would get 2.5% interest as well for 8 years.
